As an Assistant (Rajbhasha), selected candidates will play a crucial role in promoting the use of Hindi as an official language across ISRO centres. The responsibilities include:

1. Screening

Applications will be screened based on eligibility criteria. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test.

2. Written Test

  • Mode: Pen-paper-based or Computer-based test.
  • Duration: 120 minutes.
  • Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions).
  • Qualifying Marks:
    • UR: Minimum 50% in each section
    • OBC/ST/PwBD: Minimum 40% in each section

    • UR: Max 5% mistakes allowed.
    • Reserved: Max 8% mistakes allowed.

4. Final Selection

  • Based on written test performance, subject to qualifying the skill test.

  • Part A: Hindi Language & Grammar
  • Part B: General English (basic knowledge)

Skill Test

  • Computer Literacy Test (MS Word, MS Excel, Internet basics, file handling).
  • Hindi Typing Test (speed & accuracy on computer using Inscript keyboard).

  • Revise Hindi grammar, vocabulary, and official language rules.
  • Practice Hindi typing daily to achieve 25 w.p.m. speed.
  • Stay updated with current affairs, ISRO missions, and government policies.
