Application Process Guidelines:

1. Preliminary Instructions:

1.1 Before initiating the online application process, carefully review the advertisement, instructions, and procedures.

1.2 Verify all details in the printed application form for accuracy after completion and upload all required documents before final submission.

2. Online Application Submission:

2.1 Apply online well in advance, avoiding waiting until the last date.

2.2 Double-check all entered details before applying, as no changes will be allowed post the application deadline.

2.3 After successful submission, take a final printout of the application form along with the uploaded documents.

3. Submission of Hard Copy:

3.1 A hard copy of the application form, along with uploaded documents, must be presented when requested by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

3.2 Ensure all required documents are uploaded, as those not uploaded will not be entertained. Additional documents may be requested for clarification if needed.

4. Modification of Application Details:

4.1 Once the application is submitted, no requests for changes, corrections, or modifications will be entertained by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

4.2 No offline application forms or downloaded copies will be accepted.

5. Eligibility and Verification:

5.1 Applications of candidates not meeting the qualifications/eligibility conditions on the cutoff date will not be accepted.

5.2 Educational qualifications, socio-economic criteria, experience, etc., will be evaluated based on the last date for online application or as specified in the notification.

6. Important Notes:

6.1 Candidate information, including name, parent details, date of birth, etc., will be retrieved from the One Time Registration Portal or Claim Verification/Withdrawal Portal.

7. Commission’s Decision:

7.1 The Commission’s decisions regarding application acceptance, eligibility, and selection criteria are final and binding.

HSSC Physical Measurement Test, Physical Screening Test, Knowledge Test, Additional Weightage, NCC Certificate

1. Qualifying Tests:

1.1 Candidates will be invited based on their merit in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test, both of which are qualifying in nature.

1.2 The number of batches for shortlisting qualified candidates will be determined by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT):

2.1 Candidates must undergo the Physical Measurement Test per the standards outlined in the Haryana Police (Non-Gazetted and Other Ranks) Service Rules, 2017.

2.2 Standard digital measurement devices will be used to maintain tamper-proof and impartial testing.

2.3 Results will be displayed on the official website, and candidates failing to meet the standards will be eliminated from further selection.

3. Physical Screening Test (PST):

3.1 Candidates who qualify for the PMT will proceed to the Physical Screening Test (PST) to assess physical fitness and endurance.

3.2 PST standards include race distance and qualifying time for males, females, and ex-servicemen.

3.3 RFID or superior technology may be used for test reliability.

3.4 Candidates not meeting PST standards will be eliminated from further selection.

4. Knowledge Test (94.5% Weightage):

4.1 Shortlisted candidates from PMT and PST will participate in the Knowledge Test, carrying 94.5% weightage.

4.2 The test consists of objective-type, multiple-choice questions with bilingual (Hindi/English) options.

4.3 For general category posts, candidates must secure a minimum of 50%, while reserved category candidates receive a 10% concession with a minimum cut-off of 40%.

5. Additional Weightage (Maximum 5.5 Marks):

5.1 NCC Certificate: Candidates with NCC certificates (A, B, or C level) will receive additional marks (01, 02, or 03) for Constable posts.

5.2 Socio-Economic Criteria: Eligible candidates can receive a maximum of 2.5% weightage based on the Common Eligibility Test Policy for Group-C & D posts, as amended from time to time (dated 05.05.2022).
