How  to Apply on UPSC CMS Examination 2024

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

1.       Online Application Process: Candidates must apply online through www.upsconline.nic.in. Initial registration on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform on the UPSC website is mandatory. Once registered, applicants can proceed to fill out the online application for the UPSC CMS 2024 examination. OTR registration is a one-time process that can be done anytime.

2.       Modification of OTR Profile: Changes to the OTR profile can be made only once after registration and before the application deadline. The modification window closes 7 days after the last date of the examination application (07.05.2024 for this exam).

3.       Modification in Application Form (Other than OTR Profile): Corrections to the application form can be made from the day after the application window closes until 7 days thereafter (01.05.2024 to 07.05.2024). If changes are needed to the OTR profile during this period, applicants should use the OTR platform.

4.       Submission of Applications: All candidates, including those currently employed in government or private sectors, must submit their applications directly online to the Commission. Government employees need to provide a written undertaking if they apply.

5.       Important Notes:

·         Candidates should select their exam center carefully as changing centers later is not permitted.

·         Incomplete or defective applications will be rejected without further correspondence.

·         Hard copies of applications are not required at this stage.

6.       Eligibility and Verification: Candidates should ensure they meet all eligibility conditions. Admission to exam stages (written and interview) is provisional pending verification. If found ineligible at any stage, candidature will be canceled.

7.       Documents for Submission Post-Result: After the written exam results (expected in August/September 2024), successful candidates must submit self-attested copies of age certificate, educational qualification certificate, category certificate (if applicable), fee concession certificate (if applicable), and disability certificate (if applicable).

8.       Disciplinary Rules and Penalties: Candidates must adhere to rules and refrain from malpractices listed under Rule 11 of the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2024. Violations can lead to disqualification, debarment from future exams, and disciplinary action.

9.       Candidates are advised to review and comply with these guidelines to ensure a smooth application process and uphold ethical conduct throughout the examination.

  General Instructions for UPSC CMS Examination 2024

1.       Online Application Process: Candidates should apply online at www.upsconline.nic.in. The process involves two stages: Part I and Part II, with detailed instructions available on the website.

2.       Application Fee: A fee of Rs. 200/- is applicable (except for SC/ST/Female/PwBD candidates) payable through the SBI branch, net banking, or debit/credit card/UPI.

3.       Document Requirements: Before starting the application, candidates must have scanned photographs and signatures (.jpg format, size between 20 KB to 300 KB each). They also need details of a valid photo ID (Aadhar Card, Voter Card, PAN Card, etc.) for future reference.

4.       Application Timeline: The application window (Part I and II) is open from 10th April 2024 to 30th April 2024 (till 6:00 P.M.).

5.       Avoiding Multiple Applications: Applicants should avoid submitting multiple applications. If submitted, the application with the higher Registration ID (RID) will be considered.

6.       Email Communication: Provide a valid and active email ID during application as the Commission will use electronic communication for further correspondence. Check emails regularly and ensure they are not redirected to spam folders.

7.       Early Application: Candidates are advised to apply well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues or delays.
