HPBSE TET June 2024 How  to Apply

- Mode and Method of Online Application:
- Visit the official website of HPBoSE at www.hpbose.org.
- Click on the “CET / Vacancy” option and select the “HP TET – 2024” link to access the online application.
- Upon successful submission, an Application Number will be generated. Keep this number for future reference.
- If you forget your Application Number, use the “Forget Application No.” option to retrieve it.
- Upload the required details, photos, and signatures, and submit the declaration.
- Use your Application Number as ID and Date of Birth as the password to access online activities and download the Admit Card.
- Keep a printout of the confirmation page for your records.
- Detailed Instructions:
- Before applying, read the detailed instructions and PROSPECTUS on the Board’s website (www.hpbose.org).
- Verification of Application Details:
- Ensure all details filled in the online application are correct, including category and sub-category selections.
- Electronic devices like mobile phones and earphones are prohibited at examination centers.
- Submission Process:
- Apply online to avoid data discrepancies and ensure timely delivery of admit cards.
- Verification of Eligibility:
- The Board will conduct a provisional acceptance of candidature based on the application. Candidates are personally responsible for meeting eligibility criteria.
- Reservation Benefits:
- Candidates seeking reservation benefits must ensure eligibility and possess relevant certificates as per the prescribed format.
- Steps to Fill Up Online Application:
- Step 1 – Online Application Form:
- Enter your Aadhar Number, select the desired subject for HP TET June – 2024, and provide qualification details.
- Enter personal details (name, parents’ names), category, sub-category, date of birth, contact/ mobile number, email ID, gender, appearing status, nationality, address, Bonafide Himachali status, and district/ revenue sub-division details.
- Select preferences for examination center district and sub-division.
- Step 2 – Upload Images:
- Upload a scanned photograph (jpg format, less than 20 kb, dimension 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) and signature (jpg format, less than 15 kb, dimension 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm).
- Step 3 – Payment of Fees:
- Remit the fee through Payment Gateway using Net Banking or Debit/Credit Card.
- Step 4 – Print Out of Confirmation Page:
- Check the entered particulars before the final submission and tick the declaration.
- Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
Note: The details filled during online submission are final and cannot be changed later. Keep copies of all documents for reference, but do not send them to HPBoSE. |
HPBSE TET June 2024 General Instruction

- Arrive at the Examination Center at least 2 hours before the exam starts. Be in the examination hall/room 30 minutes before the exam to fill out the OMR response sheet.
- Take your seat promptly after the Examination Hall opens. Any delay due to reasons like traffic or transport issues may cause you to miss important instructions. HPBoSE is not liable for such delays.
- Present the downloaded/printed Admit Card from the HPBOSE website upon demand for admission to the examination room/ hall. Test Centre Staff will verify identity and credentials. No entry without a valid Admit Card and authorized Photo ID.
- Sit in the allotted seat indicated by your Roll Number. Changing seats without authorization may result in candidature cancellation.
- Ensure the Question Paper is for your applied class. Inform the Invigilator if there’s any discrepancy.
- Approach the Centre Superintendent/ Invigilator for assistance or emergency during the exam.
- Providing false information will lead to candidature cancellation and result in non-declaration.
- No re-test will be conducted by HPBoSE if a candidate misses the scheduled test date for any reason.
Note: Candidates must appear at the designated Centre and on the specified date as mentioned in their Admit Card. Changes to the exam city or shift indicated on the Admit Card will not be entertained. |
