2. Upload self-attested, clear copies of the following documents in JPG/ JPEG or PDF format:

• Recent passport-size color photo (not older than 3 weeks).
• Signature in black ink.
• Documents for age, qualifications, and eligibility:
• Matriculation certificate/ admit card for age verification.
• Graduation/ post-graduation mark sheet.
• Final/ provisional degree certificate.
• Latest mark sheet for final-year students (if applicable) and CGPA-to-percentage conversion certificate.
• Valid caste certificate (OBC/ SC/ ST candidates).
• PwBD certificate, if applicable.
• EWS income and asset certificate for 2023-2024.
• Ex-servicemen discharge/ service certificate.
• NOC or application copy seeking NOC for government/ PSU employees.

3. False or incorrect information will result in cancellation of candidature.

4. Submit only one application per discipline. Only the one with the highest “Application Sequence Number” will be considered if multiple applications are submitted.

5. Incomplete applications or those missing required documents will be rejected.

6. For foreign degree holders, include a recognition document from the relevant statutory body.

7. Additional documents, if required, should be uploaded as a merged PDF file.

CIL Management Trainees Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

Coal India Limited (CIL)

1. Candidates must qualify GATE-2024. Based on GATE scores, candidates will be shortlisted discipline-wise and category-wise in a 1:3 ratio for further selection.

2. In case of a GATE score tie:

• Higher percentage/ CGPA in qualifying degree is preferred.
• If still tied, older candidates will be ranked higher.

3. The final merit list will be based solely on GATE-2024 scores. Scores from other years will not be considered.

4. Candidates employed with Government, PSUs, or autonomous bodies must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or a receipted application copy seeking NOC. Candidates failing to provide proper NOC during document verification (DV) will be disqualified.

5. Selected candidates’ names will be posted on the CIL website, and notifications will be sent to their registered email for DV and Initial Medical Examination (IME).

6. Appointment offers will be issued post successful completion of DV, IME, and submission of a relieving letter (if applicable).

2. Qualifications must be recognized by AICTE/ UGC or statutory Indian authorities. Foreign degrees must have statutory recognition for government jobs and the recognition document should be uploaded as a merged PDF.

3. CIL will conduct a provisional application review; candidates must ensure they meet eligibility criteria. False claims will result in disqualification.

4. No application modifications are allowed after submission. Any discrepancies between submitted data and original documents will result in rejection.

5. Candidates in Government/ PSUs must upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or a receipted copy of an NOC application. Final NOC is required at document verification.

6. Applicants must provide a valid email and mobile number, which must remain active for one year for communication purposes.

7. Refer to CIL’s FAQs on the website for query resolution.

8. CIL reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process without prior notice.

9. Any updates or changes will be posted only on the CIL website; check regularly.
