SECL Apprenticeship 2024-25. Notification for invitation of applications for one-year Apprenticeship Training for Fresher Apprentices (Optional Trade) under the Apprentices Act 1961 (amended up to date). Applications are invited in online mode through the Apprenticeship Portal from eligible 10-foot-passed candidates for fresher apprentices in optional trades under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme for one year of apprenticeship training in South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Bilaspur for their engagement in its different offices, establishments, and units of areas and company headquarters in the states of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.

How  to Apply: SECL Apprenticeship 2024-25

1.       Registration Process:

o    Visit the official apprenticeship website: www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.

o    Click “Login/Register” > Select “Candidate” > Register as a candidate.

o    Enter your mobile number and email ID > Click “Register.”

o    Activate your account via the link sent to your registered email.

o    Log in and complete your profile by entering the required details and uploading documents.

o    You will receive a registration number and password via email.

2.       Application Process:

o    Log in to the portal using your credentials.

o    Click on “Establishment Search” and enter “South Eastern Coalfields Limited.”

o    Fill in the required details and click “Submit” to complete the application.

o    Ensure all details match the entries in your certificates (e.g., name, father’s name, Aadhaar number).

3.       Additional Notes:

o    Refer to the “Candidate User Manual” under the “Get Started” tab on the apprenticeship website for guidance.

o    SECL will publish the advertisement on 27.01.2025.

o    Applications will be accepted from 27.01.2025 to 10.02.2025 (Midnight) only.

Selection Process: SECL Apprenticeship 2024-25

1.       Application Window:

o    Only applications submitted on the Apprenticeship Portal for SECL between 27.01.2025 and 10.02.2025 (midnight) will be considered.

2.       Provisional List:

o    Candidates will be shortlisted based on:

§  Percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.

§  Reservation policy and merit.

o    In case of tie-in marks, the older candidate will be given preference.

o    The provisional list and related details will be uploaded on SECL’s website (secl-cil.in) under Human Resource > HRD > Apprentice.

3.       Document verification requirements:

o    Candidates must upload the following documents on the portal:

§  High school mark sheet (10th class).

§  Recent passport-size photograph.

§  Signature, date of birth proof, caste certificate, Aadhaar card, and trade preference details.

o    Provide a notarized affidavit on a ₹10/- stamp paper in the prescribed format.

o    Submit a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a government medical officer (not below the rank of Assistant Civil Surgeon) in the prescribed format.

4.       Additional Notes:

A medical fitness certificate must be issued after the notification date. SECL may require additional medical tests if needed.

o    OBC certificates issued before 01.04.2024 will not be accepted.

o    Original documents must be presented for verification.

5.       Selection and Stipend:

o    After medical fitness and document verification, candidates will be selected for one-year apprenticeship training.

o    Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹6,000 per month.

6.       Application Deadline:

o    Apply online through the Apprenticeship Portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) by 10.02.2025.

o    Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.

1. Post-Training Employment:

o    Completion of apprenticeship training does not guarantee employment in SECL.

o    No claims for employment at SECL will be entertained.

2.       Expenses and Facilities:

o    No travel allowance, medical examination costs, or accommodation will be provided.

3.       Management Rights:

o    SECL reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of seats or cancel the training program entirely.

4.       Applicable Rules:

o    Matters not covered in this notification will follow the Apprenticeship Act and Rules.

5.       Jurisdiction:

o    Any disputes will be resolved under Bilaspur court jurisdiction and authorities specified in the Apprenticeship Act.
