Selection Process: DRDO DIBT JRF Recruitment 2025

• Candidates will be selected for the interview through a written exam with multiple-choice, objective-type questions.
• The outcome of the interview will determine the final choice.
• For current and projected future openings, a panel of chosen applicants will be ready.

1. Stipend and Fellowship Details:

• A monthly salary of ₹37,000 would be provided to Junior Research Fellows (JRF) in addition to HRA. The DRDO and other National Agency Research Fellowship guidelines shall be followed when awarding the JRF. Please be aware that receiving the fellowship offer does not provide you any admission rights to DRDO. No candidate may assert their entitlement to selection.

2. Fellowship Tenure:

• The fellowship will initially last for two years. The term may be extended for the third and fourth years if necessary, depending on the fellow’s performance.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates from accredited universities or institutions may only apply if they meet the requirements listed.

4. Age Limit and Relaxation:

• Junior Research Fellows must be at least 28 years old on the day of the interview. For SC/ST candidates, the age relaxation lasts for up to five years, while for OBC applicants, it lasts for three years.

        5. Original Certificates and Testimonials:

• During the interview, candidates must bring their authentic certifications and testimonies. The application form, a valid government-issued ID card (such as a driver’s license, passport, or Aadhaar), and a photocopy set of all supporting documentation should also be brought.

6. NOC for Employed Candidates:

• Applicants who are currently working for government agencies, PSUs, or independent organizations must submit their applications via the appropriate route and present a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer when they walk in for an interview.

7. Written Test for DRDO DIBT JRF Recruitment 2025:

• An objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) written test may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview, if necessary.

8. Panel of Selected Candidates:

• Following the candidates’ performance in the interviews, a panel will be established to consider both current and prospective vacancies. This panel will remain effective for one year from the date of the interview. In the event of any inconsistencies, the decision made by the Centre Head, DIBT, Mysuru, will be conclusive.
• No TA/DA:
• No Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid to candidates for attending the interview or for joining if selected.

10. Document Verification:

• Applicants are required to provide relevant documents as evidence of their caste, age, educational qualifications/ NET/ GATE, and NOC (if applicable) along with a passport-sized photograph. Not presenting these documents will lead to the disqualification of the application.

11. Application Submission:

• Applicants are required to complete the application form attached to the advertisement and send it, along with copies of their testimonials/documents, to the Centre Head, Defence Institute of Bio-Defence Technologies (DIBT), Siddhartha Nagar, Mysuru- 570011, exclusively via Speed Post. Applications delivered by courier will not be accepted. The envelope containing the application should be clearly marked with the title “Recruitment of Junior Research Fellows.”

12. Position and Subject Mentioning:

• Candidates must mention the position and subject for which they are applying.

13. Antecedent Verification:

• The antecedents of selected candidates will be verified at the time of joining if selected.

14. Selection Discretion for DRDO DIBT JRF Recruitment 2025:

• Candidates cannot assert a right to selection. The Selection Committee of the office has full authority to make decisions regarding admissions and may decline to accept any candidate without providing a reason. The quantity of seats available for JRF is subject to change without prior notification.

15. Shortlisting and Interview Call:

• Candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted for the written test or interview at the Defence Institute of Bio-Defence Technologies in Mysuru. Notifications will be sent via email or speed post to those who have been shortlisted.

16. Project Report/Technical Work:

• Applicants are invited to present a project report or a demonstration of technical work to support their application.

17. Application Deadline:

• The last date to receive the application is 30 days from the date of the advertisement.

18. Canvassing:

• Canvassing or attempting to influence the selection process will lead to disqualification.
