·         Postgraduate degree in Science (1st Division) with NET qualification, or

·          Graduate degree in Engineering (B.E/ B.Tech) (1st Division) with a valid GATE score, or

·         Postgraduate degree in Engineering (M.E/ M.Tech) (1st Division) at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

·         Stipend: 37000/-

·         Age limit: Maximum 28 years.

·         Age relaxation is extra as per norms.

·         Cut-off date for age calculation: 22/04/2025

How to Apply, Selection Process, and General Information: DRDO ITM JRF Walk In 2025

1. Monthly Stipend: ₹37,000/-
2. Cut-off Date: Age & qualification will be considered on the interview date.
   • Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, as per government norms.
3. Eligibility: Only candidates with awarded degrees/provisional certificates can apply.
4. Tenure: Initially 2 years, extendable up to 5 years based on performance.
5. Reporting Time & Venue: 09:30 AM on the interview date at Reception, Main Gate, ITM, Mussoorie, Landour Cantt., Uttarakhand – 248179.
6. Interview Process: If a large number of candidates appear, interviews may extend to the next day.
7. Application Form: Download from www.drdo.gov.in, and submit in PDF format to [email protected].
8. Hard Copy Submission: Bring a hard copy of the filled form, a recent passport-size photo (top-right corner), and self-attested copies of certificates. Carry an extra photo.
9. Ph.D. Registration: Selected JRF candidates may register for Ph.D. during the fellowship.
10. Document Verification: Originals must be presented during the interview for verification.
11. Employed Candidates: Must produce an NOC from the employer at the interview.
12. Venue Accessibility: ITM is ~4 km from Mussoorie town; the nearest railway station is Dehradun; the nearest bus stop is Picture Palace/Masonic Lodge (~4 km).
13. Electronic Devices: Mobile phones, laptops, pen drives, and other gadgets are not allowed inside the ITM campus.
14. Incomplete Applications: Will be rejected during screening.
15. Background Verification: Conducted before joining.
16. Job Guarantee: Fellowship does not guarantee absorption in DRDO.
17. Travel Allowance: No TA/DA is required to attend the interview or join if selected.
