How  to Apply: UPPSC Combined State Service Exam 2025

1.       First Stage:

o    Click ‘Apply’ → ‘Authenticate with O.T.R.’ appears.

o    Select ‘Yes’ (if O.T.R. registered) → Enter O.T.R. Number → Authenticate via OTP/password → Personal details auto-filled → Select exam category → Fill essential qualification.

o    Select ‘No’ (if not O.T.R. registered) → First, register on O.T.R. portal → Then, follow the above process.

2.       Second Stage:

o    ‘Applicant Dashboard’ appears → Click ‘Submit Details’ under ‘Application Part-2’.

o    Address details auto-filled from O.T.R. → Select ‘Yes/No’ for preferential qualifications.

3.       Third Stage:

o    ‘Fee Confirmation Window’ appears → Click ‘Yes’ to proceed with fee payment via:

§  NET BANKING

§  CARD PAYMENTS

§  OTHER PAYMENT MODES

o    After payment, print the ‘Payment Transaction Slip’.

o    If payment fails, go to ‘Candidate Dashboard Login’ → Authenticate → Click ‘Pending Payment’ to retry.

o    Note: Fee payment is mandatory before the deadline.

4.       Fourth Stage:

o    Completed application form appears → Print and keep for future reference.

o    Modification in qualification is allowed only once before the deadline via ‘Candidate Dashboard Login’.

UPPSC UPPCS Exam Pattern 2025

The UPPCS exam consists of three selection stages. Candidates must clear all stages to qualify.

1. Prelims Exam

  • The first stage of selection is conducted offline across the state.
  • Around eight lakh candidates appear.
  • Includes two papers:
    • General Studies Paper – 1
    • General Studies Paper – 2 (CSAT)
  • UPPSC issues an answer key, and candidates can raise objections to incorrect answers.

2. Main (Written) Exam

  • Optional subjects were removed; two new papers introduced.

General Information: UPPSC Combined State Service Exam 2025

1.       The details submitted in the online application (category, sub-category, domicile, gender, DOB, EWS, creme layer, name, and address) will be final. No changes will be allowed after the last date. Providing incorrect information may lead to disqualification.

2.       Incomplete applications will be rejected without any communication.

3.       If any misrepresentation or concealment of information is found at any stage, the candidature will be canceled, and further debarment proceedings will be initiated.

4.       Candidates furnishing false information or engaging in malpractice may be debarred for up to five years.

5.       Any change in personal details in the O.T.R. must be synchronized on the dashboard; otherwise, it will not be accepted. No online/offline requests for corrections will be entertained.

6.       If a candidate is found ineligible as per advertisement terms, their candidature will be canceled, and no claims will be entertained. The Commission’s decision on eligibility is final.

7.       Applications will be rejected if:

  • Submitted on an incorrect form.
  • The date of birth is missing or incorrect.
  • The candidate is overage/underage.
  • Minimum qualifications are not met.
  • Submitted after the last date.
  • The declaration is unsigned.

8.       Candidates may be admitted provisionally, but if found ineligible later, their candidature will be canceled, and any selection will be withdrawn.

9.       Candidature will be rejected if involved in concealment, criminal cases, bigamy, misrepresentation, malpractice, or canvassing. The candidate may also be debarred from future exams.

10.   Candidates must submit the required documents for verification within the specified period. Failure to do so will lead to cancellation. If a candidate is absent for document verification, it will be considered a lack of interest, and the candidature will be canceled.

General Instructions

  1. No Late Applications – Applications will not be accepted after the last date and time. Incomplete applications (missing information, photograph, or signature) may be rejected.
  2. Online Submission – Ensure all details are correctly filled in before the last date. Print and keep a copy for future reference, as it may be required by the Commission.
  3. Reservation & Age Relaxation – Candidates claiming benefits must provide a valid certificate from the competent authority. Only one benefit (whichever is more favorable) will be granted. Non-UP domicile candidates from reserved categories will not get reservation benefits. Women’s caste certificates must be from their father’s side.
  4. Eligibility Responsibility – The Commission does not verify eligibility before application submission. Candidates must ensure they meet all criteria before applying.
  5. Freedom Fighter Quota – Only sons, daughters, grandsons, and granddaughters (married/unmarried) are eligible under this category. A valid reservation certificate from the District Magistrate is mandatory.
