 UPPSC ACF RFO Recruitment 2025 Notification. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) invites applications for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination, 2025, and Assistant Conservator of Forest (A.C.F.)/ Range Forest Officer (R.F.O.) Note:

• Age Limit: Candidates must be aged between 21–40 years as of July 1, 2025 (Born between July 2, 1985, and July 1, 2004). PH candidates: maximum 55 years (Born before July 2, 1970).

• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC candidates (U.P.): +5 years; PH candidates: +15 years.

• Cut-off Date for Age Calculation: 1 July 2025.

  1. One-Time Registration (O.T.R.):
    • It is mandatory for all candidates to complete O.T.R. before applying online.
    • Obtain the O.T.R. number via the commission’s dedicated website: https://otr.pariksha.nic.in.
    • If not already registered, the process should be completed at least 72 hours prior to applying.
  2. Online Application Process:
    • Visit the Commission’s website, https://uppsc.up.nic.in, to access the online advertisement and application form.
    • Follow these 4 stages of the application process:
      • First Stage: Authenticate with your O.T.R. number, verifying your identity via OTP sent to your registered mobile/email or O.T.R. password. Once authenticated, select the examination(s) you’re applying for (PCS, ACF/RFO, or both) and fill in essential details.
      • Second Stage: The applicant dashboard will appear. Fill in your correspondence and permanent address along with educational qualifications as displayed from your O.T.R. data.
      • Third Stage: Proceed to fee payment through SBI MOPS using net banking, card payments, or other payment modes. Save and print the Payment Transaction Slip.
      • Fourth Stage: Apply. A preview option is available for cross-checking details. After submission, take a printout of the form for future reference.
    • In case of modifications, candidates may edit the qualifications section only once before the deadline.
  3. Key Notes:
    • No physical documents need to be sent during the preliminary examination application stage. These will be required later if shortlisted for subsequent rounds.
    • Keep all application details and payment records safely stored for future reference.

  1. Preliminary Examination:
  • A screening test comprised of two papers (objective type). Both papers are mandatory to qualify.
  • Paper I (General Studies): Determines merit ranking and eligibility for Mains.
  • Paper II: Qualifying in nature, with a minimum score requirement of 33%.
  • The merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in Paper I.
  • Main Examination:
  • Only those who clear the preliminary examination are eligible for the Mains.
  • It consists of 8 compulsory papers, including General Studies, Essay, and Optional Subjects, all of conventional types (except Hindi and General Studies I & II, which are objective type).
  • Candidates need to meet specific efficiency standards, determined by the Commission, for inclusion in the merit list.
  • Interview:
  • Candidates qualifying the Mains will move on to the Personality Test/Viva-Voce.
  • The interview panel evaluates general interest, academic background, personality traits, and suitability for civil services.
  • Final Selection:
  • Merit is determined based on the combined scores of the Mains and Interview.
  • For certain positions, eligibility may also depend on performance in optional subjects or fitness tests.
  1. Accuracy in Details:
  • Double-check every detail filled in the application, including your O.T.R. data, academic qualifications, personal information, and preferences.
  • Document Submission:
  • Candidates must attach self-attested copies of certificates and mark sheets at the Main Examination stage to verify claims made during the Preliminary Examination application.
  • These documents include educational certificates, reservation eligibility certificates, and physical measurement certifications (if applicable).
  • Age Calculations and Relaxations:
  • Strict adherence to the age eligibility as per the cut-off date is required.
  • Claims of age relaxation or category-based reservations must be supported with appropriate documents.
  • Reservation Clauses:
