Candidates must apply online via https://psc.ap.gov.in using their One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) credentials. New applicants must register first to generate a unique OTPR ID. Applications submitted through any other mode will be rejected.

  • Screening Test (OMR-based):
    • General Studies & Mental Ability + Mathematics (SSC Standard) + General Forestry
    • Negative marking: 1/3rd per wrong answer
  • Main Examination (Objective Type):
    • Paper I: General Studies & Mental Ability (150 marks)
    • Paper II: Mathematics (150 marks)
    • Paper III: General Forestry (150 marks)
    • Qualifying Test: General English & Telugu (100 marks)
  • Physical Tests:
    • Walking Test:
      • Male: 25 km in 4 hours
      • Female: 16 km in 4 hours
    • Medical Examination by Medical Board
  • Computer Proficiency Test (CPT):
    • Mandatory for final selection
    • Minimum qualifying marks:
      • OC: 40%
      • BC: 35%
      • SC/ST: 30%
  • Bonus Marks for NCC Certificate Holders:
    • NCC “C”: 5 marks
    • NCC “B”: 3 marks
    • NCC “A”: 1 mark
  • Only Indian citizens are eligible
  • Physical standards must be met (height, chest, eyesight)
  • Candidates must undergo walking and medical tests
  • Hall tickets will be available on the Commission’s website
  • All communication will be via https://psc.ap.gov.in
  • Use of electronic gadgets during exams is strictly prohibited
  • Candidates must maintain a consistent appearance throughout the process
  • DigiLocker integration is encouraged for certificate verification

Is the walking test mandatory for all candidates?

Yes. It is a qualifying test and must be completed within the specified time.

Can candidates from other states apply?

Yes, but they are not eligible for local reservations or fee exemptions.

What if I make a mistake in my application?

Corrections are allowed for 7 days after the last date, except for name, fee, and age relaxation fields.
