· Qualification: BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech/ PhD in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics and Controls. · Experience (as of 01.01.2025): 1. Lead Expert: Minimum 30 years post-qualification in Power Electronics, especially Traction Drives for locomotives and EMUs. 2. Associate Expert: 13–18 years post- qualification experience in the same field. · Key Skills: 1. System-level engineering for EMU/ locomotive. 2. Propulsion system design with IGBT/ SiC for EMU and high-power locomotives. 3. Application software design for Line/ Motor Converters. 4. Train Control Management System (TCMS) and Vehicle Control Unit design. · Desirable Experience: 1. Embedded application software, RTOS, hardware interfacing. 2. Simulation models for locomotives/ EMU (MATLAB preferred). 3. Industry- standard modulation techniques for traction drives. 4. Component selection for Propulsion Systems. 5. SIL- compliant hardware design for TCMS/ Propulsion Systems. |
