Supervisor Trainee –

o    Engineer Trainee: ₹50000- 160000

o    Supervisor Trainee: ₹32000- 100000

For Engineer Trainees:

  1. Candidates must appear for a Computer-Based Examination (CBE).
  2. Based on CBE marks, candidates will be shortlisted for an interview in a 1:5 ratio per discipline and category.
    • PwD candidates get up to 40% relaxation below the cut-off for shortlisting.
    • Shortlisting follows a two-step process:
      • UR candidates and unrelaxed reserved category candidates are grouped and arranged in merit order.
      • The remaining reserved category candidates are regrouped and shortlisted separately.
  3. The final merit list is based on:
    • 75% weightage to CBE score.
    • 25% weightage to interview score.

For Supervisor Trainees:

Selection consists of two stages:

Stage I: Computer-Based Examination (CBE)

  1. All eligible candidates must take CBE.
  2. Based on CBE marks, candidates are shortlisted for document verification in a 1:3 ratio per category.
    • PwD and Ex-Servicemen candidates get up to 40% relaxation below the cut-off.
    • Shortlisting follows a two-step process:
      • UR and unrelaxed reserved category candidates are grouped and arranged in merit order.
      • The remaining reserved category candidates are regrouped and shortlisted separately.

Stage II: Document Verification (DV)

  1. Shortlisted candidates must attend and complete DV.
  2. DV is a qualifying stage only.
  3. The final merit order is based solely on the CBE score.

  2. Application & Processing Fee:
    • UR/EWS/OBC: ₹600 (Exam Fee) + ₹400 + GST (Processing Fee) = ₹1,072.
    • SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen: ₹0 (Exam Fee) + ₹400 + GST (Processing Fee) = ₹472.
    • Additional bank charges may apply.
  3. Multiple Applications: Only the last submitted application will be considered.
  4. Exam Centers:
    • Candidates can select up to 5 preferred test centers.
    • BHEL reserves the right to modify test center locations.
  5. Exam Language:
    • Computer-Based Exam (CBE) is bilingual (Hindi/English, except the English section).
    • Interviews can be given in Hindi or English.
  6. Eligibility Verification:
    • Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria.
    • False information may lead to disqualification or termination.
  7. Category Selection:
    • SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, PwD, J&K domiciled candidates, and ex-servicemen should select the correct category.
    • OBC (Non-NCL) candidates should apply as general.
  8. Incomplete Applications: Non-compliant or incomplete applications will be rejected.
  9. Government Employees:
    • Must apply through the proper channel or submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the interview.
  10. Document Submission:
  • Degree/Final Year Mark Sheets must be provided at the time of Interview/Document Verification.

  • Issuance of a roll number or call letter does not guarantee selection.

  • Candidates must have a valid email ID active for at least one year for official communication.

  • BHEL may modify/cancel/reopen the recruitment process as required.
