1.       Educational Qualification:

• Passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Certificates from non- State/ Central boards must include a Government of India notification confirming equivalency to Matriculation.

2.       Driving License:

• Must hold a valid license for:
  a) Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle
  b) Light Motor Vehicle
  c) Motorcycle with gear

3.       Experience:

• At least 3 years of driving experience in Heavy/ Transport Vehicles, Light Motor Vehicles, and Motorcycles with gear.

·         Age limit: 21 to 27 years.

·         Age relaxation is extra as per norms.

·         Cut –off date for age calculation: 04/03/2025

1. One-Time Registration

• Purpose: Creates a permanent database for candidates, with a unique Registration ID and Password for CISF exams.
• Requirements:
  a. Mobile Number
  b. Email ID
• Steps to Register:
  1. Visit the official website: https://cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in.
  2. Click on the “Login” button on the homepage.
  3. Select “NEW REGISTRATION.”
  4. Fill in the required details:
     a. Basic details
     b. Additional and contact details
     c. Declaration
  5. Verify personal details twice to avoid mistakes.
  6. Submit and confirm. Registration Number and Password will be sent to your email and mobile.

2. Filling Online Application

• Requirements:
  a. Recent passport-sized photograph (JPEG format, 20–50 KB, with the date printed).
  b. Scanned signature (JPEG format, 10–20 KB).
  c. Scanned documents (PDF, ≤1 MB) for age and education proof.
• Steps to Apply:
  1. Login using your Registration ID and Password.
  2. Select the relevant exam (e.g., “Constable (Driver & DCPO) – 2024”).
  3. Fill in essential details and submit.
  4. Complete the form, preview it, and submit it after verifying the details.
  5. Upload:
     • Photograph
     • Signature
     • Scanned certificates for age and education.
  6. Proceed to fee payment (if applicable):
     • Online: UPI, Net Banking, Credit/ Debit cards.
     • Offline: SBI Challan (processing takes 48 hours).
  7. After payment, print out the application form for future reference.

Note:

• Ensure all details (name, parent’s names, and date of birth) match your Matriculation Certificate.
• Applications with errors or illegible uploads will be rejected.

1. Physical Standards

• General, EWS, SC, OBC (Except Relaxed Categories):
  • Height: 167 cm
  • Chest: 80-85 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion)
• Relaxed Standards (Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates from specified states/regions):
  • Height: 160 cm
  • Chest: 78-83 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion)
  • Proof: Domicile or Appendix-‘D’ certificate.
• Scheduled Tribes (ST):
  • Height: 160 cm
  • Chest: 76-81 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion)
• Ex-Servicemen (ESM):
  • Full relaxation in physical standards; measurements will still be recorded.

2. Medical Standards

• Weight: Proportionate to height and age. Final decision during the medical examination.
• Fitness Criteria:
  • No knock knees, flat foot, varicose veins, or squint eyes.
  • Must be in good mental and physical health without defects affecting duty performance.
• Vision:
  • Near Vision: N6 (both eyes)
  • Distant Vision: 6/6 (both eyes, uncorrected)
  • No visual correction allowed, including glasses.
  • Color Vision: CP II (ISIHARA test)
  • Binocular vision is required.
• Tattoo Guidelines:
  • Content: Religious symbols, figures, or names as per Indian Army norms allowed.
  • Location: Inner aspect of the left forearm or dorsum of hands.
  • Size: Less than 1/4th of the respective body part (e.g., elbow or hand).

Selection Process: CISF Recruitment 2024

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)

1.       Height Bar Test (HBT):

o    Candidates with accepted applications will receive Roll Numbers and attend the first recruitment stage, including PET/ PST, Documentation, and Trade Test.

o    Only candidates passing the HBT proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

2.       Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

o    Events include:

§  800 m Run: 3 minutes 15 seconds.

§  Long Jump: 11 feet (3 chances).

§  High Jump: 3 feet 6 inches (3 chances).

o    Candidates must qualify in all events; failure results in elimination.

o    No appeals are allowed in PET.

3.       Physical Standard Test (PST):

o    Measurement of height, chest, and weight.

o    Relaxations (e.g., for ST candidates) require valid certificates.

o    Candidates failing PST can appeal on the same day; appellate decisions are final.

o    Weight-related eliminations occur during the Medical Examination.

4.       Documentation:

o    Original documents required for verification:

§  Educational and age-proof certificates.

§  Valid driving license for HMV/ LMV/Motorcycle with gear.

§  Relevant caste and domicile certificates (Appendices A-D).

§  Employment certificates (Appendices E-G).

§  Four recent passport-sized photos.

§  Photo ID proof (e.g., Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN).

o    Biometric credentials will be recorded.

5.       Trade Test:

o    Tests include:

§  Driving Test for Light Vehicle: 50 marks (25 qualifying).

§  Driving Test for Heavy Vehicle: 50 marks (25 qualifying).

§  Practical Motor Mechanism Knowledge: 30 marks (15 qualifying).

o    Trade Test is qualifying in nature.

6.       Written Examination (OMR/CBT):

o    Objective type (100 questions, 100 marks):

§  Part A: General Knowledge (20 marks).

§  Part B: Elementary Mathematics (20 marks).

§  Part C: Analytical Aptitude (20 marks).

§  Part D: Observation Ability (20 marks).

§  Part E: English/Hindi Knowledge (20 marks).

o    Qualifying Marks:

§  UR/EWS/ESM: 35%.

§  SC/ST/OBC: 33%.

o    Conducted in English and Hindi, with no negative marking.

o    Normalized scores will determine merit lists.

o    Answer keys and objections are allowed with fees.

7.       Medical Examination (DME/RME):

o    Candidates qualifying in previous stages are medically examined based on government-issued guidelines.

o    Declared as FIT or UNFIT (no temporary unfit status).

o    UNFIT candidates may request a Review Medical Examination (RME).

8.       Final Selection:

o    Merit list prepared based on written exam scores and category-wise vacancies.

o    Post-allotment depends on merit-cum-preference for Constable/ Driver or Constable/ DCPO roles.

1.       If the date of issue of licenses in different categories is the same or not mentioned, candidates must provide a certificate from the RTO confirming the validity and issuance date for each category.

2.       Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are not eligible for this recruitment.

3.       Candidates must ensure that their names, date of birth, and parents’ names match the matriculation certificate to avoid disqualification.

4.       Applications with incomplete or false information, unsigned forms, or missing fees will be rejected at any stage.

5.       Fake or fabricated applications using any dignitaries’ names/ photos will result in legal action under the Cyber/IT Act.

6.       Candidates under the influence of drugs/energetic substances during PET will face immediate disqualification.

8.       The Department reserves the right to modify or cancel the advertisement without prior notice.

9.       Candidates must arrange for a 2-3 day stay at their own expense during recruitment as no TA/DA will be provided.

10.   Applicants must prepare physically and mentally for the recruitment process and will be solely responsible for any incidents or accidents during recruitment.

11.   Adequate practice for PET/race is advised. Candidates should also undergo a medical examination to ensure they can safely participate in physical activities.

12.   Any form of canvassing or external influence will lead to automatic disqualification.

13.   The Department’s decisions regarding eligibility, selection, and examination procedures are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entertained.

14.   If a candidate is found unfit or ineligible after selection, their service will be terminated without explanation.

15.   Any malpractice during or after recruitment will result in disqualification and legal action.

16.   The Director General, CISF, reserves the right to alter or cancel the recruitment process without explanation.

17.   In case of disputes, the English version of the instructions will take precedence.

18.   Success in the recruitment stages does not guarantee appointment; suitability will be assessed after a Detailed Medical Examination and necessary inquiries.

19.   Selected candidates will undergo basic training at CISF RTCs, with details provided in the Offer of Appointment letter. Probation lasts two years (extendable), during which unfit candidates may be terminated.
