Constable Recruitment Punjab Police 2024. Online applications are sought from Indian citizens for the direct recruitment of constables in both the districts and armed cadre of the Punjab Police. The recruitment process for filling these vacancies within the district and armed cadre will involve the submission of an application form (AF) and the indication of preference for cadre (district cadre and armed cadre). Subsequently, candidates will undergo a Physical Screening Test (PST) and a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) with specified qualifying parameters. The selection of candidates will be based on their respective merit, determined strictly by the marks obtained in Paper I, along with a normalization process and the expressed preference for cadre, against the available category-wise vacancies.

1. The recruitment process for filling vacancies in the two mentioned cadres will involve a Common Application Form (CAF) and a Common Computer Based (CBT) process.
2. Candidates must undergo a Physical Screening Test (PST) and a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) with specified qualifying parameters.
3. All candidates must indicate their cadre preferences in the Application Form based on eligibility criteria. If applying for one cadre, consideration will be limited to that cadre, and preferences cannot be changed.
4. Selected candidates will be allocated to different cadres based on merit and indicated preferences, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.
5. The selection process comprises three stages:
   • Stage-I: Two common Computer Based Tests (CBT), Paper-I and Paper-II (qualifying in nature).
   • Stage II: Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT), both qualifying in nature.
   • Stage III: Document Scrutiny.

2.       Fill out the registration form and then complete the Application Form linked to the fee payment gateway.

3.       District Cadre applicants must specify 15 district preferences for potential allocation based on merit and vacancy availability, excluding their home district.

4.       Carefully read and follow instructions on the Recruitment Portal before completing the application. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

5.       Provide accurate personal details, including an active email address and mobile number, ensuring access to a stable internet connection for the application process.

6.       Prepare necessary documents (ID proof, personal details, address proof, email, mobile number, matriculation certificate, educational qualifications, reservation certificates, online payment details, and recent passport-size photo and signatures).

7.       Declare the home district and retain printed copies of the online Application Form.

8.       Provisional eligibility is granted upon application; however, document scrutiny will occur post-exam.

9.       Candidates with government employment need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or a declaration if the NOC is unavailable during the application.

10.   Submit applications well before the April 4, 2024, deadline to avoid any issues; the Board is not responsible for late submissions.

11.   Contact the Helpdesk for assistance in case of difficulty downloading the Admit card.

12.   Provide an undertaking about the genuineness of candidature and correctness of information in the Application Form.

13.   The deadline for online applications is April 4, 2024, until 11:55 pm.
