1. Before initiating the online application process, ensure successful registration on DSSSB’s portal at https://dsssbonline.nic.in. Details for registration can be found on the Board’s website (refer to Annexure-II). It’s important to note that registration is a one-time activity, and the user ID and password generated during this process should be utilized for all DSSSB examinations. Multiple registrations will result in cancellation and debarment.
2. Eligible candidates are invited to submit their applications online at https://dsssbonline.nic.in from January 9, 2024, to February 7, 2024, until 11:59 PM. The application link will be disabled after the specified deadline.
3. While completing the application form for the relevant post, carefully adhere to the INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING ONLINE.
4. Submission of applications is exclusively through the online mode; any other methods, including post, hand, mail, etc., will not be accepted. Correspondence in alternative formats will not be entertained.
5. The online application submission window commences on 09/01/2024, and the closing date is 07/02/2024 (11:59 pm).
6. To prevent last-minute complications, it is advisable to submit applications well in advance of the closing date. DSSSB cannot be held responsible for issues preventing timely submissions that are beyond the candidates’ control.

Before final submission, carefully review all details in the online application. Once submitted, no modifications or corrections, including changes in category, will be permitted. Requests for changes through post, fax, email, or in person will not be considered. Candidates are solely responsible for any inaccuracies in the application data and associated fees.

1. The marks obtained by candidates in the Computer-Based Examination will be normalized using the formula specified by DSSSB (Notice No. 10 (271)/Sec.Cell/DSSSB/18/989 dated 11.07.2018 – Annexure-III), if necessary. Normalized scores will be used to determine the final merit and selection.
2. In case any question(s) in the exam is considered invalid, those questions will not be assessed, and the candidate’s marks will be calculated on a prorated basis.
3. Draft Answer Keys will be published on the DSSSB website post-examination. Candidates can submit objections online within the specified time frame, with objections through other modes not being entertained.
4. Minimum qualifying marks for different categories are as follows:

• General/EWS: 40%
• OBC (Delhi): 35%
• SC/ST/PH (PwD): 30%
• Ex-servicemen receive a 5% relaxation, with a minimum of 30%.

5. DSSSB reserves the right to set minimum cutoff marks based on candidate availability.
6. In the event of candidates in the same category having equal marks:

• Higher marks in Section B will result in a higher merit.
• If tied, the senior candidate in age will be placed higher.
• If ages are the same, alphabetical order will determine merit.

7. Final selection is contingent on Tier-II Examination performance, candidate preferences, and eligibility as per Recruitment Rules.
8. Preferences confirmed during e-dossier submission are final and irreversible.
9. Post/department allocation is based on merit-cum-preferences, and no changes are allowed once allocated.
10. Vacancies reported by the User Department until shortlisting will be considered for recruitment.
11. Reserved category candidates selected on merit will not be adjusted against reserved vacancies; these vacancies will be filled separately.
12. A disabled person selected on merit can be appointed against an unreserved vacancy if suitable for the relevant category.
13. Provisional selection does not guarantee appointment; the Appointing Authority must confirm suitability.
14. Applicants must ensure eligibility for the desired department.
15. Admission at all stages is provisional; if found ineligible at any time, the candidature will be canceled.

1. The selection of candidates by the Board is contingent upon the reported vacancies from user departments. The Board holds no responsibility for determining the number of vacancies, and advertised positions may undergo variations without compensation for any resultant damage or loss.
2. User departments are responsible for managing the reservation policy, roster maintenance, vacancy allocation, and identification of suitability for various benchmark disabilities. DSSSB assesses post suitability under the RPwD Act, 2016, or as directed by User Departments.
3. DSSSB retains the right to cancel or modify the advertisement at any stage.
4. Examination centers are exclusively located in Delhi/NCR.
5. The Board reserves the right to cancel or modify the examination process due to administrative reasons or irregularities. It also maintains the authority to alter examination centers without entertaining requests for changes in date, time, or location.
6. In the event of inadvertent errors in the advertisement, the final result will adhere to Recruitment Rules, DoPT guidelines, the Board’s website schemes, and the prevailing guidelines of GNCTD and GOI.
7. The Board may alter or amend the examination scheme before the examination if deemed necessary.
8. The candidature of candidates in the examination is provisional and subject to legal outcomes. The issuance of an Admit Card or participation in the exam does not automatically guarantee a claim for the DSSSB post.
9. Abbreviations: EWS, ExSM, UR, SC, ST, OBC.
10. The use of electronic devices is strictly prohibited in the examination center.
11. Possession of unauthorized gadgets or instruments will result in debarment and may lead to legal proceedings.
12. Dress code: Candidates are required to wear light clothes with half sleeves, without large buttons or accessories. Slippers or sandals with low heels are allowed, while shoes are not permitted.

In the event of discrepancies among language versions, the English version will be considered final.
