How to Apply
- Apply online through APSC’s recruitment website; no other modes are accepted.
- New users must register at the APSC Recruitment Portal via ‘Register Here’ and complete One-Time Registration (OTR).
- Use a valid email ID for application updates and interview notifications.
- Log in with registered credentials after account creation.
- Complete OTR by providing personal details, qualifications, experience, a photo (50-200 KB, not older than 3 months), a signature (50-200 KB), and required documents.
- Read the eligibility criteria carefully before applying.
- Enter and upload supporting documents (PDF, max 2 MB) for claims like DOB, qualifications, experience, etc.
- Ensure degree certificates state the candidate’s name and awarded degree.
- Documents will be verified during the personal viva voce interview.
- Fill in all details correctly and enable the ‘Preview’ button before final submission.
- No edits are allowed after the final submission.
- Check uploaded documents in preview mode before submission.
- Review details before final submission; click ‘Submit’ or ‘Cancel’ for corrections.
- Pay the application and processing fees after submission.
- Fees once paid are non-refundable.
- In case of payment failure, use ‘Validate Payment’; double debits are refunded in 5-7 days.
- A confirmation email will be sent upon successful application submission.
- Applications without fee payment will be rejected.
- Candidates can apply via Common Service Centers if needed.
- Submit only one application per post; if multiple applications are submitted, the one with the higher application number should be complete.
- Take a printout of the submitted application for records.
- Apply well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

Documents Required at the Time of Interview
Candidates must produce a hard copy of the online application along with the following original documents and self-attested copies:
- Proof of Age—Class X/XII Admit Card, Pass Certificate, or Marksheet issued by the Central/State Board.
- Educational Qualification—Certificates & Mark sheets from HSLC onwards up to the qualifying examination.
- Degree/Diploma Certificate—Along with mark sheets of all academic years, provisional certificates will be accepted if the original is unavailable.
- Caste Certificate—Issued by the Govt. of Assam for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC candidates, mentioning caste details and Act/ Order of recognition.
- BPL Certificate—Issued by the Govt. of Assam (if applicable).
- Declaration Form-A—As per Assam Public Services (Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019, downloadable from the APSC website.
- Other Supporting Documents—Any additional claims made by the candidate must be supported with relevant documents.
Failure to produce these documents will result in disqualification from the interview. |

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Ensure eligibility before applying; admission at all selection stages is provisional. If found ineligible at any stage, the candidature will be canceled.
- Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards before applying.
- No withdrawal of the application is allowed after submission.
- No change in category/sub-category is permitted after application submission.
- Providing incorrect information may lead to disqualification from future APSC posts.
- False declarations will result in rejection and legal action. Even after selection, falsehood may lead to cancellation.
- Candidates must produce valid ID proof (PAN, DL, passport, voter ID, Aadhar, etc.) during tests and interviews.
- Eligibility will be determined based on the online application closing date unless stated otherwise.
- Candidates must attend interviews/VIVA-VOCE at assigned locations at their own expense.
- Selected candidates must meet medical fitness requirements as per government standards.
- Final results will be published on the APSC website/newspapers; no interim inquiries will be entertained.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
