FDO Assam PSC Recruitment 2025 Notification. APSC invites applications from Indian citizens (as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution) for various posts under the Assam Government. Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) degree from an ICAR-recognized institution.

·         Pay Scale: 30000-110000/-

·         Age limit: 21 to 38 years.

·         Age relaxation is extra as per norms.

·         Cut-off date for age calculation: 01/01/2025

How to Apply: FDO Assam PSC Recruitment 2025

1. Apply online through APSC’s recruitment website; no other modes are accepted.
2. New users must register at the APSC Recruitment Portal via ‘Register Here’ and complete One-Time Registration (OTR).
3. Use a valid email ID for application updates and interview notifications.
4. Log in with registered credentials after account creation.
5. Complete OTR by providing personal details, qualifications, experience, a photo (50-200 KB, not older than 3 months), a signature (50-200 KB), and required documents.
6. Read the eligibility criteria carefully before applying.
7. Enter and upload supporting documents (PDF, max 2 MB) for claims like DOB, qualifications, experience, etc.
8. Ensure degree certificates state the candidate’s name and awarded degree.
9. Documents will be verified during the personal viva voce interview.
10. Fill in all details correctly and enable the ‘Preview’ button before final submission.
11. No edits are allowed after the final submission.
12. Check uploaded documents in preview mode before submission.
13. Review details before final submission; click ‘Submit’ or ‘Cancel’ for corrections.
14. Pay the application and processing fees after submission.
15. Fees once paid are non-refundable.
16. In case of payment failure, use ‘Validate Payment’; double debits are refunded in 5-7 days.
17. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful application submission.
18. Applications without fee payment will be rejected.
19. Candidates can apply via Common Service Centers if needed.
20. Submit only one application per post; if multiple applications are submitted, the one with the higher application number should be complete.
21. Take a printout of the submitted application for records.

Candidates must produce a hard copy of the online application along with the following original documents and self-attested copies:

1. Proof of Age—Class X/XII Admit Card, Pass Certificate, or Marksheet issued by the Central/State Board.
2. Educational Qualification—Certificates & Mark sheets from HSLC onwards up to the qualifying examination.
3. Degree/Diploma Certificate—Along with mark sheets of all academic years, provisional certificates will be accepted if the original is unavailable.
4. Caste Certificate—Issued by the Govt. of Assam for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC candidates, mentioning caste details and Act/ Order of recognition.
5. BPL Certificate—Issued by the Govt. of Assam (if applicable).
6. Declaration Form-A—As per Assam Public Services (Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019, downloadable from the APSC website.
7. Other Supporting Documents—Any additional claims made by the candidate must be supported with relevant documents.

Failure to produce these documents will result in disqualification from the interview.

1. Ensure eligibility before applying; admission at all selection stages is provisional. If found ineligible at any stage, the candidature will be canceled.
2. Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards before applying.
