IBPS Officers Recruitment 2024 How  to Apply

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)

1. A candidate can apply for both the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and a post in the Officer cadre. However, a candidate can only apply for one specific officer post, i.e., Officer Scale-I, Scale-II, or Scale-III.
2. Candidates must apply and pay fees/intimation charges separately for each post.
3. Applications can only be submitted online for IBPS Officers Recruitment 2024; no other modes of application will be accepted. The online application window is open from 07.06.2024 to 27.06.2024.
4. To apply:
   • Visit the IBPS-authorized website www.ibps.in.
   • On the Home Page, click on the link “CRP for RRBs.”
   • Select either “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- RRBs-OFFICERS (Scale-I, II, and III)” or “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- RRBs- OFFICE ASSISTANTS (Multipurpose)” to open the Online Application Form.
5. Candidates need to register their application by clicking “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and entering their basic information in the online application form. A provisional registration number and password will be generated and displayed on the screen. Candidates should note down this information. An Email & SMS indicating the provisional registration number and password will also be sent. They can use this information to reopen the saved data and edit particulars if needed.
6. Candidates must upload the following documents as per the specifications in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Documents (Annexure III):
   • Photograph
   • Signature
   • Left thumb impression
   • A handwritten declaration
   • Certificate as mentioned in Clause J (x) for eligible candidates
   • Additionally, candidates need to capture and upload their photographs through a webcam or mobile phone during the registration process.
7. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application form, as no changes will be entertained once the form is submitted. Before submitting, candidates should use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify and modify their details as needed. No changes are permitted after clicking the COMPLETE REGISTRATION button. Visually impaired candidates must ensure their details are accurately filled in and verified before submission, as changes are not possible after submission.
8. For the posts of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officers Scale I, candidates should select the State/Union Territory for provisional allotment on selection in the online application form. This option, once selected, is irrevocable.

IBPS Officers Recruitment 2024 General Instructions

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)

1. Candidates must produce valid documents (call letter, photo ID) at exams, interviews, and joining. No documents should be sent to IBPS before/after the exam.
2. For preliminary exams (Officers Scale I and Office Assistants), call letters and ID proofs will be authenticated and returned. Bring these for the main exam along with other documents. Submit the scribe form if applicable.
3. Candidates cannot take the main exam without authenticated call letters and ID proofs from the preliminary exam.
4. For single exams (Officers Scale II and III), submit call letters and ID proofs at the exam venue as instructed.
5. Bring one additional photograph (same as the call letter) and all required documents. No photograph means no exam entry.
6. Apply for only one Officer post (Scale-I, II, or III) on IBPS Officers Recruitment 2024. Multiple applications will be rejected.
7. Ensure eligibility before applying. Follow all norms and instructions in the notification.
8. IBPS/Nodal Banks/RRBs decisions on eligibility and selection are final. No correspondence will be entertained.
9. A scribe must not be another candidate. Violations lead to disqualification.
10. Only one application per cadre (Office Assistants and Officers). Multiple applications will result in rejection.
11. Online applications of IBPS Officers Recruitment 2024 cannot be withdrawn. Fees are non-refundable.
12. Disputes are subject to Mumbai courts’ jurisdiction.
13. Canvassing leads to disqualification.
14. No requests for changes in exam dates, times, venues, or application details will be entertained.
15. Use the same signature throughout the process—no CAPITAL LETTERS.
16. Upload a recent photograph and retain copies for all selection stages.
17. Ensure all uploaded documents are clear and not smudged.
18. Handwritten declarations must be in English and not in capital LETTERS.
19. IBPS is not responsible for any test administration issues.
20. Officer Scale I, II, and III candidates bear their interview expenses. Eligible SC/ST/PWD candidates may receive fare concessions.
21. Do not share IBPS Officers Recruitment 2024 application details.
22. Appointment is subject to medical fitness and RRB requirements.
23. IBPS reserves the right to change selection criteria and processes.
24. Intimations will be sent via email/SMS. IBPS is not responsible for communication failures.
25. Indicate the order of RRB preferences in the application.
26. Choose exam centers based on the selected state/UT.
27. Maintain a valid personal email ID until results are declared.
28. Handwriting discrepancies in declarations will lead to disqualification.
