Important Application Guidelines for Indian Army TES 51 Course July 2024

1. Online Application Submission

• Applications will only be accepted online.
• To apply, candidates should visit the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
• Click on the “Online Application” button on the website.

2. Entering Personal Details

• Candidates need to fill in their personal information in the online application.
• It’s important to review and understand the terms and conditions associated with the form before submission.

3. Editing Application Data

• Candidates are allowed to make corrections to the data they entered in the online application until the application deadline.
• Each time changes are made, the candidate must submit the application again.
• No changes will be permitted after the deadline, and no requests for changes will be entertained.

4. Confirmation and Roll Number

• After successfully submitting the form, a confirmation dialog will appear.
• Candidates will receive a printout of the application with a roll number 30 minutes after the application deadline.
• Two copies of the printout, self-attested by the candidate, are needed for the SSB interview along with other specified documents.

5. Required Documents

• Documents to be carried to the SSB interview include:

1. Class 10th certificate and mark sheet in original showing Date of Birth.
2. Class 12th certificate and mark sheet in original.
3. Original ID proof.
4. Copy of JEE (Mains) 2023 result.

• The second copy of the online application printout should be retained by the candidate. No hard copy needs to be sent to the Director General of Recruiting.
• At the SSB interview, two self-attested photocopies of the certificates are to be submitted, and the originals will be returned after verification.
• Candidates should carry 20 self-attested passport-size photographs.

6. Submit Only One Application

• Candidates must submit only one application. Multiple applications from the same candidate will result in the cancellation of their candidature.

7. Update of Postal Address

• Any change in postal address after application submission must be communicated by post, mentioning the Roll Number, name, and the chosen course.

8. Employment Details

• If the candidate is employed, they must provide employment details and confirm in writing to their employer that they are applying for a commission in the Army.

9. Selection Procedure

• The Integrated HQ of MoD will shortlist applications and notify candidates via email.
• After shortlisting, candidates will be assigned to one of the selection centers: Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
• At the selection center, candidates will undergo psychological testing and interviews.
• Selected candidates will then proceed to a medical fitness test.
• Those who pass the medical test will receive a joining letter for training, based on merit.
• Successful completion of training leads to the appointment as Lieutenant in the Indian Army.
