The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force invites applications from qualified male and female candidates for the temporary filling of Central Government Group-A, Gazetted Combatised Post (Non-Ministerial) vacancies. These positions are likely to become permanent and offer a competitive pay Scale-Level-10 (56,100-1,77,500) in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC, along with additional allowances admissible in ITBPF (MHA) Govt. of India.

Upon joining the organization, selected candidates will be governed by the ITBPF Act 1992 and ITBPF Rules 1994, subject to amendments. The posts have an all-India liability, and successful candidates may be posted anywhere in India or even abroad. As these positions belong to a combatised stream of the Force, officers selected will be required to wear the designated rank and badges based on the orders/instructions issued by the Central Government.

Application Fee & Payment:

1.       General (UR)/OBC male candidates: Rs 400/- (pay through online payment gateway on recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in).

2.       SC, ST, Females, and Ex-servicemen are exempt from the fee.

3.       No refund for paid fees under any circumstances.

4.       Applicants from the Central/State Government must submit a No Objection Certificate (Annexure-I) and DE/Vigilance clearance certificate (Annexure-II) during document verification.

5.       Failure to submit NOC and DE/Vigilance clearance will result in rejection during documentation.

6.       Paper-II (Subjective) – 100 Marks, 2 hours (Civil Engineering)

7.       Part-A: 5 Questions (2 marks each)

8.       Part-B: 5 Questions (8 marks each)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Standard:

·         Male: 100m race in 16 sec, 800m race in 3 min 45 sec, Long jump 3.5m, Shot put (7.26 kgs) – 4.5m

·         Female: 100m race in 18 sec, 800m race in 4 min 45 sec, Long jump 3.0m

Height:

·         Male: 165 cms Female: 157 cms

Chest (Only for males):

·         Unexpanded: 81 cms, Expanded: 86 cms”

Selection Process:

1.       Bar-coded admit cards, mentioning the date and venue, will be issued online for candidates.

2.       No document submission is required during the online application; however, the candidature remains provisional until all original documents/certificates are submitted in the prescribed format during the verification stage.

3.       Candidates without valid admit cards will not be allowed to participate in the recruitment process.

4.       Candidates reporting with admit cards will undergo the following recruitment tests:

·         Phase I: Verification of Original Documents

·         Physical Standard Test (PST)

·         Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

·         Biometric Identification

·         Phase II: Written Examination

·         Phase III: Interview (Personality Test) – 50 Marks

·         Merit List:

·         Detailed Medical Examination

·         Phase IV: Review Medical Examination

General Instructions:

1.       Candidates engaging in malpractices during or after the recruitment process will have their candidature canceled.

2.       All candidates called for PET, and PST must bring a clear printout of the online application form for identification.

3.       Candidates should keep an adequate number of passport-size photos used in the online application form.

4.       Government servants must submit an original “No Objection Certificate” during documentation.

5.       Admit cards will be issued online, and candidates should download them from recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.

6.       ITBPF is not responsible for any damage or injury during the recruitment process.

7.       Beware of touts; recruitment in ITBPF is transparent and based on performance.

8.       ITBPF is not responsible for power failure, electronic issues, or internet-related problems during the online application.

9.       Candidates must serve in the Force for a minimum of 10 years; early resignation requires repayment.

10.   Selected candidates undergo Basic Training and prescribed courses.

11.   No correspondence from ineligible candidates whose applications are rejected.
