J and K Bank Apprentices 2025 Notification. Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd. invites online applications for the engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for one year (360 days). The selected candidates will be placed in the bank’s branches/offices within their respective districts, at the bank’s discretion. Eligible and interested candidates are encouraged to apply online before the deadline.

A. Registration on the Apprenticeship Portal

1. Visit https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
2. Register as a candidate and create your profile.
3. Log in and complete the profile by providing all required details.
4. Go to “Apprenticeship Opportunities” and search for “JAMMU AND KASHMIR BANK LIMITED” under “Establishment Name.”
5. Apply for the opportunity “Business Correspondent/Facilitator V4.0.”
6. Ensure your mobile number, Aadhaar, and bank account are linked with DBT enabled.

B. Registration for Online Examination

1. Dates to Apply Online: 24.12.2024 to 07.01.2025 (No other mode of application is accepted).
2. Steps to Complete Application:

·         Scan and Upload:

1. • Photograph (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm).
   • Signature (in black ink, NOT in capital letters).
   • Left thumb impression (use right thumb if left is unavailable).
   • Handwritten declaration (text provided below).
   • Declaration Text:
     “I, ________(Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required/asked by the Jammu & Kashmir Bank or its authorized agency.”
     (Note: Must be written in English, in your handwriting.) Visually impaired candidates may get it typed with their thumb impression below it.
2. Prepare for Online Payment:
   • Keep necessary documents ready for fee payment.
   • Ensure a valid personal email ID and mobile number for communication.

C. Application Fees

• Unreserved Category: ₹700/-
• Reserved Category: ₹500/-
• Fees must be paid online (inclusive of GST). Transaction charges are to be borne by the candidate.

1.       Online Written Test (Objective Type)

o    Test Type: General Awareness & English Comprehension

§  No. of Questions: 50

§  Maximum Marks: 50

§  Duration: 30 minutes

o    Test Type: Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability

§  No. of Questions: 50

§  Maximum Marks: 50

§  Duration: 30 minutes

o    Total: 100 Questions, 100 Marks, 60 minutes

o    Penalty: 1/4th mark deduction for wrong answers. There is no penalty for unanswered questions.

2.       Merit List

o    Merit will be drawn district/ region and category-wise.

o    Candidates will be ranked based on aggregate marks. In case of a tie, candidates will be ranked by age (older candidates ranked higher).

3.       Language

o    The online examination will be conducted in English only.

4.       Bank’s Discretion

o    The bank reserves the right to conduct additional tests or follow different selection criteria.

5.       Wait List

o    20% of vacancies will be reserved in the waitlist, valid for 6 months or until the end of the current financial year.

6.       Contract of Apprenticeship

o    Candidates will be offered contracts through the apprenticeship portal. Acceptance is required within the stipulated time.

7.       Apprenticeship Training

o    Training starts from the date mentioned in the apprenticeship contract.

8.       Assessment and Certification

o    After training, apprentices will undergo both theoretical and practical assessments.

o The Bank and BFSI SSC will issue a joint Apprenticeship Certificate.

9.       Relaxation in Recruitment

o    Age Relaxation: 1-year age relaxation for candidates who complete the apprenticeship program.

o    Marks Relaxation: 2.5% bonus marks will be added to the online test score, provided the total marks do not exceed the maximum.

o    Candidates must meet other eligibility criteria as per the recruitment notification.

2.       Proof of Date of Birth (SSLC/ Std. X certificate with DOB).

3.       Photocopy of photo identity proof matching the name on the online application.

4.       Photocopy of Aadhaar and PAN card.

5.       Marks sheets and certificates of graduation or equivalent qualification.

6.       Proper document from the Board/ University declaring the result before the cut-off date.

7.       Two recent passport- sized photographs.

8.       Printout of the online result.

9.       Permanent Resident/ Domicile Certificate.

10.   Other qualification certificates (if any).

11.   Income and Asset Certificate for EWS category candidates in the prescribed format.

12.   Category certificate (if applicable).

13.   SC/ ST/ OBC caste certificate issued by a competent authority with a non-creamy layer clause (valid as on the date of notification).

14.   Disability certificate from the District Medical Board for PwBD candidates.

15.   Scribe certificate, if applicable.

16. Non-production of required documents will lead to ineligibility for engagement.
