| Selection Process
1. Computer- Based Test (CBT): · Selection will be based on marks obtained in the CBT. · The CBT will carry 100 marks with multiple- choice questions (1 mark each). · A separate syllabus for the CBT will be released. · Minimum cutoff marks for CBT: 25%. 2. Multiple Company Preference: · For posts available in multiple companies (e.g., MP Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company, MP Power Transmission Company, etc.), applicants must select their preferred companies in order during the online application process. · Allocation will be based on preference, merit, and availability of vacancies in the preferred companies. 3. Special Process for Divyangjan (PwD) Applicants: · Selection will be conducted via walk-in if applicants meet minimum qualifications and submit valid documents. · If scores are tied, priority will be determined by: o (i) Older candidates (based on date of birth). o (ii) Higher marks in Class 10th examination. o Divyangjan candidates are also encouraged to participate in CBT for general selection. 4. Bonus Marks for Line Attendant (Distribution) Applicants: o Applicants with at least 3 years of work experience as Meter Readers under contractual schemes in MP Power Distribution Companies will be eligible for up to 10% bonus marks in the CBT. o Bonus marks are subject to eligibility criteria such as satisfactory service and meeting educational, age, and residency requirements. 5. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): o Required for posts like Line Attendant (Distribution), Security Sub-Inspector, and Security Guard. o Divyangjan candidates selected for reserved posts will be exempted from the PET. 6. Final Merit List for Line Attendant (Distribution): o Bonus marks (if eligible) will be added to the CBT score to prepare the final merit list. o Only candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in the CBT will be considered for merit ranking.
