NCB Inspector Recruitment 2025 Notification. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, invites applications for Inspector positions on a deputation basis.   • Pay Scale: Level-7 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400), previously ₹9,300-₹34,800 with Grade Pay ₹4,600.
  • Total Vacancies: 94

Location of Vacancies: Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Raipur, and more (full list in the circular).

  1. Essential:
    • Degree: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/institute.
    • Experience: Three years of experience in enforcing regulatory laws and intelligence gathering.
  2. Desirable:
    • One-year experience in investigating criminal or economic offenses.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: Not exceeding 56 years as of the application closing date.

Age Relaxation: As per Government norms, details provided in the official notification.

Cut-off Date for Age Calculation: 06 May 2025.

Eligible candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format, with their service details, through the proper channel to their controlling officer.
