  1. Obtain a BE/ BTech/ BSc (Engineering)/ 5-year Integrated MTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in one of the specified engineering disciplines from a university or institute recognized by AICTE/ UGC. The 60% marks should meet the university’s standards.
  2. Possess a valid GATE-2022, GATE-2023, or GATE-2024 score in the same engineering discipline as your qualifying degree.

Important documents for NPCIL interview

  1. Use the GATE 2022, GATE 2023, or GATE 2024 Registration Number from the Admit Card issued by GATE Authorities to apply on NPCIL’s website. Ensure accuracy as corrections will not be allowed.
  2. Apply online through NPCIL’s registration system within the specified dates. Handwritten or hard-copy applications will not be accepted. Do not send any documents to NPCIL before the interview.
  3. Read and fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying. Provide accurate details including GATE Registration Number, educational qualifications, experience (if any), email, mobile number, and upload scanned photograph and signature as per given specifications.
  4. Male candidates of General/EWS/OBC categories must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- online. SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, DODPKIA, females, and NPCIL employees are exempt from the fee.
  5. Complete the online registration process by activating your account, filling in educational and personal details, and uploading documents. Ensure correctness as changes will not be permitted after submission.
  6. After successful fee payment, view/print the online application form. Check the application status through “Applicant’s Login” using the provided credentials.
  7. Prepare for the interview by keeping necessary documents ready, including photo ID, Interview Call Letter, printed online application form, and self-attested copies of educational, experience, and other relevant certificates.
  8. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/SMS (if an active mobile number is provided) about the availability of the Interview Call Letter on the website. Carry the printed Interview Call Letter to the interview venue.
  9. Ensure all information provided in the online application form is accurate as initial screening is based on this information.
  10. Follow the four-step process: Registration, Activation, Fill Candidate Details & Submit Application, and Payment of Application fee (if applicable).
  11. Carry required documents including photo ID, Interview Call Letter, online application form printout, and self-attested copies of certificates to the interview venue.

Selection Process of NPCIL Executive Trainees Vacancy 2024

The interview process for NPCIL recruitment

  1. Candidates will be shortlisted based on valid GATE 2022, GATE 2023, and GATE 2024 Scores in a 1:12 ratio for personal interviews. If candidates have the same cut-off marks, all will be shortlisted.
  2. Only valid GATE 2022, GATE 2023, and GATE 2024 scores will be considered for this recruitment; previous GATE scores will not be accepted.
  3. Equal importance will be given to GATE 2022, GATE 2023, and GATE 2024 Scores during shortlisting.
  4. Shortlisting for ‘Persons with Benchmark Disabilities’ (PwBDs) will be done separately in a 1:12 ratio for each disability category.
  5. Discipline and category-specific cut-offs will be posted on NPCIL’s recruitment website. Shortlisted candidates will receive interview notifications via email/SMS and can download their interview call letters.
  6. Final selection will be based solely on performance in the Personal Interview, subject to medical fitness. GATE Score will not influence the final selection.
  7. Interview qualifying marks are 70% for Unreserved and 60% for EWS/SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD categories.
  8. Merit lists will be created separately for each PwBD category, and selections will be made based on merit.
  9. Interview results and appointment offers will be accessible through individual logins on NPCIL’s recruitment website.
  10. Impaneled candidates must submit their acceptance form via email upon receiving the Offer of Traineeship.
  11. Tie-breaking criteria: GATE score takes precedence over interview marks. If both are equal, the older candidate is ranked higher.
  12. Waitlist operations will mirror the main list, with validity until September 20, 2024, in various disciplines and categories.
  13. Interviews are tentatively scheduled from June 3rd to 15th, 2024, at specific locations. Candidates may indicate venue preferences during the application, but NPCIL reserves the right to assign dates/venues.
  14. Original document verification will occur at the interview. Non-production of required documents will disqualify candidates without reimbursement of travel expenses.

Document requirements include proof of Date of Birth, educational qualifications, CGPA conversion tables (if applicable), NOC for government employees, change of name certificates (if applicable), and relevant certificates for ex-servicemen or dependents.
