2.       No other means of application will be accepted.

3.       Candidates need a valid email ID, and NTPC is not responsible for email bouncebacks.

4.       General/EWS/OBC candidates must pay a non-refundable Rs. 300 application fee.

5.       SC/ST/XSM and female candidates are exempt from the application fee.

6.       Offline payment is accepted at State Bank of India, A/C No. 30987919993, CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996).

7.       Approach an SBI branch with the “pay-in-slip” printout from the application portal for a fee deposit.

8.       Fill in the Journal Number and Branch Code during the online application.

9.       Online payment options are available through Net banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.

10.   The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

11.   After applying online, download the application slip with a unique number.

12.   Retain a copy of the application slip for future reference; no document submission by post is required.

13.   Eligible candidates must read the full advertisement and agree to the conditions.

14.   Any updates will be published on the NTPC website.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1.       Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

2.       All qualifications must be from recognized and approved Indian Universities/Institutions.

3.       Age/qualification computations are based on the last date of the online application receipt as mentioned in the advertisement.

4.       Candidates claiming category benefits must possess a valid EWS/OBC/SC/ST certificate from the Competent Authority. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years). Ex-servicemen receive age relaxation per Govt. guidelines.

5.       Eligible candidates will undergo an All India Online Selection Test comprising a Subject Knowledge Test and an Executive Aptitude Test. Shortlisted candidates based on category-wise merit will undergo document verification.

6.       Candidates choose a test center, but NTPC reserves the right to cancel/add centers based on candidate response.

7.       The Company reserves the right to cancel/restrict/adjust/enlarge vacancies without notice.

8.       Applicants must ensure eligibility, correctness of particulars, and adherence to norms. Any deviation may result in the automatic cancellation of candidature. Canvassing disqualifies the candidate.

9.       Submitting an application does not guarantee selection for further processes.

10.   Legal proceedings regarding claims or disputes arising from the advertisement can only be initiated in Delhi, with exclusive jurisdiction for courts/tribunals/forums in Delhi.

11.   In case of interpretation discrepancies, the English version prevails.
