Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), a ‘Maharatna’ PSU and leading energy major, invites applications for the engagement of apprentices across 25 work centers under the Apprentices Act, of 1961. This initiative is part of ONGC’s skill-building efforts. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for various trades and disciplines of ONGC Apprentices 2024.

Additional Information:

3. Photo Requirements: Prepare a scanned color photograph (20-50 KB in JPG format) before applying online.

4. Accuracy of Information: Verify all details before submitting the online application.

5. Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information in your application.

6. No Paper Applications: Only online applications will be accepted.

• For trades listed in Para D (SI No. 20 to 40), register at

8. Selection: Based on merit from qualifying exam marks. Age will be considered in case of a tie.

9. Reservation: Follows Government of India policies for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD.

General Conditions for ONGC Apprentices 2024 – Brief Instructions

1. Read Carefully: Candidates must read the full advertisement of ONGC Apprentices 2024 to understand the eligibility criteria and the selection process before applying.

2. No Prior Apprenticeship: Candidates who have already undergone or are pursuing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, are not eligible.

3. No Prior Experience: Those with one year or more of training/ job experience after attaining qualifications are ineligible for ONGC Apprentices 2024.

4. Qualification Limit: Applicants should not have completed three years after passing the qualifying exam as of 24.10.2024. If the result date is not on the mark sheet, a certificate from the institute is required.

5. No Employment Obligation: ONGC is not obligated to offer regular employment after the ONGC Apprentices 2024 period.

6. Updates: All updates, corrigendums, or addendums of ONGC Apprentices 2024 will be posted on www.ongcindia.com and www.ongcapprentices.ongc.co.in. Candidates must check these websites regularly.

7. One Trade Code: Candidates can apply for only one Trade Code in each category (NAPS/ NATS). Multiple applications for the same category will result in rejection. Only one email and mobile number can be used per application of ONGC Apprentices 2024.

8. Provisional Candidature: Candidature is provisional and subject to certificate verification. Any incorrect or false information will lead to cancellation, even after engagement.

9. Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must meet the medical fitness standards as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.

10. Final Decision: ONGC Management’s decisions on eligibility, selection, and other matters of ONGC Apprentices 2024 are final. No correspondence will be entertained regarding these decisions.

11. Incomplete Applications: Incomplete applications or those not meeting eligibility criteria will be rejected.

12. No Canvassing: Any attempt at canvassing will disqualify the candidate.

13. Governance: ONGC Apprentices 2024′ terms and conditions will be governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961, and relevant rules.
