Educational Qualification & Experience
Candidates must fulfill either of the following conditions:
- MD in General Medicine recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience,
OR - MBBS degree with a minimum of 7 years’ experience as a registered medical practitioner after passing the MBBS.
Preference will be given to:
- Doctors having an MD in General Medicine
- Doctors already empanelled with PSU Banks (presently or previously)
Remuneration
- ₹1000 per hour (all inclusive)
- No additional allowances or benefits will be paid.
Working Hours & Days
- 8 hours per week
- Visiting days and timings will be fixed by the bank as per staff convenience.
Period of Contract
- Initially for 02 years
- Extendable by another 02 years after review of performance, subject to the satisfaction of the Bank.
Job Role & Responsibilities
The medical consultant will be responsible for:
- Providing free medical consultation to Bank staff and their family members during prescribed hours
- Scrutinizing and certifying medical/hospitalization/ex gratia bills for reimbursement
- Advising on medical cases related to sick leave, extraordinary leave, and transfers
- Conducting medical check-ups of recruits as required
- Providing emergency medical advice, prescribing medicines, and suggesting routine treatments
- Any other medical or administrative task assigned by the Bank
