1.       Ensure eligibility before applying.

2.       Apply online through the Career Section of the RITES website.

3.       Note the system-generated registration number for future reference.

4.       Carefully enter identity proof details and ensure their availability for verification.

5.       Upload the required documents and make the necessary fee payment. Incomplete applications without fee payment will be rejected.

6.       Upload experience-related documents for verification. Claims not substantiated with proof may lead to rejection.

7.       For salary proof, upload documents like Form 16, a salary slip, or an appraisal letter.

8.       Category Certificates:

o    SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates must provide valid caste certificates.

o    OBC-NCL candidates need a declaration (Annexure III) confirming non-creamy layer status.

o    EWS candidates must provide a valid income and asset certificate.

o    OBC-NCL & EWS certificates must be valid as of the last application date.

9.       Do not send hard copies via post/courier.

10.   Keep a signed printout of the application and self-attested copies of the following documents for verification:

o    Recent passport-size photos

o    Proof of Date of Birth (High School Certificate)

o    Academic & Professional qualification certificates

o    Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS)

• Written Test:
  • 125 objective-type questions (1 mark each), duration: 2.5 hours.
  • No negative marking.
  • PwBD candidates get 50 extra minutes.
  • Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (UR/EWS), 45% (SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD).
• Document Scrutiny & Verification:
  • Shortlisted candidates based on the written test will undergo document verification.
  • Deficiencies in documents will be noted on the website.
  • Candidates must provide the required documents before the interview.
• Interview:
  • Candidate selection ratio: 1:6 (vacancies).
  • Weightage:
    • Written Test: 60%
    • Interview: 40% (Technical Proficiency: 30%, Personality & Communication: 10%)
  • Minimum interview marks: 60% (UR/EWS), 50% (SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD).
  • Final selection based on overall merit.

• Written Test:
