Eligibility Criteria for RPSC Senior Teacher Recruitment 2024:

1.       For Hindi, English, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Urdu, and Punjabi Subjects:

o    Graduate or equivalent qualification recognized by UGC with the concerned subject as an optional subject.

o    Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) or Government.

2.       For Science Subject:

o    Graduate or equivalent qualification recognized by UGC with at least two of the following subjects as optional: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry.

o    Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) or Government.

3.       For Social Science Subject:

o    Graduate or equivalent qualification recognized by UGC with at least two of the following subjects as optional: History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, and Philosophy.

o    Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) or Government.

4.       Additional Requirements:

o    Working knowledge of Hindi written in the Devanagari script.

o    Knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Selection Process and Application Instructions for RPSC Senior Teacher Recruitment 2024:

1.       Selection Process:

o    Candidates will be selected through a competitive examination.

o    The Commission may adopt scaling, moderation, or normalization methods for the evaluation of answer sheets.

o    As per Rule 28 of the Service Rules, the names of suitable candidates will be recommended to the State Government/ appointing authority based on merit from the written examination.

2.       Exam Location and Date:

o    Details regarding the exam venue and date will be notified in due course.

3.       Exam Pattern:

o    The competitive examination will be conducted as per Rule 22 of the relevant Service Rules.

o    The examination will be objective, and all questions will be multiple-choice.

o    The detailed syllabus will be made available separately on the Commission’s website.

4.       Application Period:

o    Applications can be submitted online from 26th December 2024 to 24th January 2025 (till midnight).

5.       Application Procedure:

o    Before applying, candidates must read the instructions, detailed advertisement, and service rules available on the Commission’s website: https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

o    To apply, candidates must click on the “Apply Online” link on the Commission’s website or log in to the SSO portal: https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in and select the Recruitment Portal under Citizen Apps (G2C).

o    First-time applicants must complete One Time Registration (OTR) by providing details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, secondary exam details, Aadhaar card information, and uploading the required documents.

6.       For Candidates with Existing OTR:

o    Candidates who have already completed OTR can log in through the SSO portal and apply using their OTR number.

7.       Important OTR Guidelines:

o    Details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, secondary exam details, and Aadhaar card information in the OTR profile cannot be modified later.

o    Candidates must ensure that the details in their Aadhaar/ SSO profile match their educational documents. If discrepancies exist, corrections must be made before completing the OTR and online application process.

8.       Photo and Signature Requirements:

o    Candidates must ensure that the photo on their Aadhaar card is updated and not older than three years.

o    During the online application, candidates must upload their live photo and scanned signature along with a scanned image of their left-hand thumb impression.

9.       Application Details:

o    Candidates must accurately mention all qualifications and experiences acquired before the application deadline. Qualifications/ experiences not mentioned in the application will not be considered later.

10.   Application Number:

• After submission, an application number will be generated. If no application number is received, it means the application has not been successfully submitted.

11.   Helpdesk Support:

• In case of any issues while applying online, candidates can contact the helpdesk number or email provided on the Recruitment Portal.

12.   Category Selection:

• Applicants must apply under the appropriate category as per eligibility. Providing incorrect information or concealing facts will lead to action as per Commission rules.
• Applicants from the Creamy Layer of OBC/ MBC categories in Rajasthan and SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC/ EWS candidates from other states will be considered under the General category.

13.   Printout of Application:

• Candidates must take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

14.   Regular Updates:

15.   Mode of Application:
