Recruitment Process for RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2024:

(a) Apply only online through the official RRB websites. Candidates can apply to only one RRB and submit one common application for any or all notified posts. The selected RRB choice is final. Multiple RRB applications will lead to rejection.

(b) The recruitment process includes:

(i) 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I)

(ii) 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II)

(iii) Document Verification (DV)

(iv) Medical Examination (ME)

(c) Examination schedules and venues will be communicated to eligible candidates via RRB websites, SMS, and/ or email.

(d) Requests for postponement or changes in venue, date, or shift will not be entertained under any circumstances.

How to Apply for RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2024:

(a) Read all the information and instructions carefully before filling out the online application.

(b) Create an account through the link on the official RRB websites. Use an active mobile number and a valid email ID. No changes to account details will be permitted later. If you have already created an account for CENs notified in 2024, use the same credentials.

(c) Apply for the notified posts of one RRB only through the ONLINE mode by visiting the official RRB website. Read all the information and instructions in the CEN thoroughly before starting the application process.

(d) PwBD Candidates needing a scribe must indicate this and provide the scribe’s details. The scribe must not be another candidate for this notification.

(e) Keep these scanned documents ready before filling out the application:

i. Recent color passport-size photograph (30 to 70 KB) against a plain white background.

ii. Scanned image of your signature in running handwriting (30 to 70 KB).

iii. SC/ST Certificate (for those requesting free train travel) in PDF format (up to 500 KB).

iv. PwBD candidates should upload a passport-size photograph as specified.

v. Scribe details (for eligible PwBD candidates), including a passport-size photograph.

(f) Use the Common Services Centre (CSC) for submitting online applications if needed. More information about CSC is available at www.csc.gov.in.

Important:

1. All communication regarding the selection process will be through the official RRB websites.
2. Keep your mobile number and email ID active throughout the recruitment process for communication via SMS and/ or email.
3. Remember your registration number for future stages of the recruitment process.

General Guidelines for Submission for RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2024:

(a) Fill out the online application form with the correct information and re-check before submission.

(b) No corrections can be made after submission.

(c) Choose your examination language from the options provided.

(d) Complete the payment process as explained and ensure the payment is genuine.

(e) Acceptance of the application will be confirmed only after fee payment, with a confirmation sent via email and SMS.

Modification of Application:

(a) After final submission, modifications can be made by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹250 for each modification. Changes to ‘Create an Account’ details and chosen RRB are not allowed.

(b) The modification fee applies to all candidates. If changing the community or switching from Ex.SM/ PwBD to other categories, pay the additional examination fee.

(c) Modifications are allowed any number of times with the required fee.

(d) Modifications can be made up to 10 days after the application closing date. The modification window is open from August 30, 2024, to September 8, 2024. No modifications will be entertained after this period.

Important Instructions for RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2024:

1. Thoroughly read the information given in CEN before filling out the online application.
2. Ensure you possess the required educational and technical qualifications for the post by the application closing date. Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible.
3. Check the Post Parameter Table (Annexure-A) and Vacancy Table (Annexure-B) to confirm eligibility before applying online.
4. Apply to only one RRB and submit only one application. Multiple applications will lead to rejection.
5. If you possess multiple minimum qualifications mapped to different Exam Groups, choose one Exam Group and apply accordingly.
6. Eligibility will be provisionally based on application details. Final verification will be during Document Verification (DV).
7. Candidates will be disqualified if false information is provided or eligibility criteria are not met.
8. The closing date for online application submission is crucial for claiming any benefits (SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ EBC status, fee concession, reservation, age relaxation).
9. Ensure medical fitness for the post applied for. Medically unsuitable candidates will not be considered.
10. Age requirement: 18- 36 years as of 01.01. 2025. (Refer to Para 5.1 & 5.2 for age details and relaxations.).
11. Pay Scale:

·         Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): Level 6 with an initial pay of ₹35,400/- plus allowances.

·         Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metallurgical Supervisor/ Research: Level 7 with initial pay of ₹44,900/- plus allowances.

1. Exam Stages: Two stages of computer-based Based Test (CBT), followed by Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME).
2. Candidates will be shortlisted for the 2nd Stage CBT based on 1st Stage CBT merit and reservation. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via the official RRB websites and email.
3. Marks will be normalized as specified in Paragraphs 14.1 & 14.2.
4. Maintain an active mobile number and email ID throughout the recruitment process for communication.
5. Negative Marking: A 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in CBT.
6. Use existing account credentials if previously created for 2024 CENs. Otherwise, create a new account. Account details cannot be modified once created.
7. For modifications after submitting the online application, pay a non-refundable fee of ₹250/- for each modification from August 30, 2024, to 08.09.2024. Account details and the chosen RRB cannot be changed.
8. Banned items (communication devices, electronic gadgets, etc.) are not allowed at the exam venue. Violations will result in disqualification.
9. Cloakroom arrangements may not be available at exam venues. Avoid bringing valuables/banned items.

1. Admission to all recruitment stages is provisional and subject to eligibility.
2. Issuance of e-call letters does not imply final acceptance of candidature.
3. Eligibility verification will be done after qualifying for all exam stages. Ineligible candidates will be rejected.

5. Submitting multiple applications will result in rejection and debarment from future exams.
6. Currently debarred candidates should not apply.
7. Candidates dismissed from government service are not eligible.
