SCR ITI Apprentices Railway Job 2024 25 Notification. South Central Railway invites online applications for the engagement of 4232 Act Apprentices under the Apprentice Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1962. Candidates residing in districts under South Central Railway jurisdiction and meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply.

• Last Date for Online Application: 27-01-2025 (11:59 PM)

1.       After completing the online application at https://scr.indianrailways.gov.in/, candidates will be directed for fee payment.

2.       Application Fee: ₹100 (non-refundable). Transaction charges, if any, will be borne by the candidate.

3.       Mode of Payment:

o    Net Banking (SBI and other banks).

o    SBI ATM-cum-Debit Card and other banks’ debit cards.

o    Credit Cards.

o    SBI UPI.

4.       Exemptions: No fee for SC/ST candidates, female candidates of all communities, and PwBD candidates.

5.       After successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates must print and retain it for future reference.

· Possess an ITI certificate in the notified trade from NCVT/SCVT- recognized institutes.

Selection Process: SCR ITI Apprentices Railway Job 2024 25

South Central Railway (SCR)

1.       Selection will follow Railway Board guidelines (RBE 120/2015, dated 06.10.2015).

2.       A merit list will be prepared based on the average percentage of marks in the 10th grade (minimum 50%) and ITI, giving equal weightage to both.

3.       In case of a tie, preference will be given to:

o    Older age candidates.

o    If birth dates are the same, candidates who passed the 10th exam earlier.

4.       No written test or viva will be conducted.

5.       Training and stipend will be as per Central Apprenticeship Council standards and existing instructions.

Medical Fitness & Physical Standards:

1.       Selected candidates must produce a medical fitness certificate signed by a government-authorized doctor (rank of assistant. Surgeon or above) at the time of document verification.

2.       Producing the medical fitness certificate is mandatory; otherwise, candidates will not be allowed to undergo training.

2.       Visit Website: Open the South Central Railway website at www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in.

3.       Application Link: Click on the “ONLINE ACT APPRENTICE APPLICATION” link.

4.       Instructions: Read all instructions, download the notification, and proceed with registration.

5.       Registration:

o    Select state and district (upload address proof).

o    Enter a valid mobile number and email ID and create a password.

o    Submit OTPs sent to mobile and email.

6.       Application Details:

o    Fill in personal details like community, date of birth, name, and educational/ technical qualifications.

o    Choose preferences for railway establishments (final once submitted).

7.       Photo upload:

o    Upload a recent color photo (JPEG, 1MB max, not older than 3 months).

o    Keep additional copies for future use.

8.       Signature & Certificates:

o    Upload signature (JPEG, 1MB max).

o    Upload educational certificates and RDAT registration form in PDF (2MB max).

9.       Preview & Submit:

o    Verify all details and certificates before final submission.

o    Once submitted, data cannot be modified.

10.   Payment: If applicable, complete payment through the gateway.

11.   Download Form: Download and print the submitted application for future reference.

12.   Login for Updates: Use “Existing User Login” to complete or track the application process.

1.       Educational Certificates:

o    SSC/10th Class marks sheet

o    Consolidated ITI trademarks sheet or Provisional National Trade Certificate

o    National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT

2.       Proofs:

o    Proof of Date of Birth

o    RDAT registration form with registration number

3.       Community Certificates (if applicable):

o    SC/ST Certificate (Annexure-A)

o    OBC Certificate (Annexures-B & C)

4.       Disability Certificate: For PwBD candidates (40% or more disability) in a proper format. Annexure-D/E is to be produced during document verification.

5.       EWS Certificate (if applicable): As per Annexure-F.

6.       Medical Certificate: Signed by a government- authorized doctor (Asst. Surgeon or higher) as per Annexure-G.

7.       Ex-Servicemen Certificate: Discharge/ Serving Certificate for Ex-Servicemen Quota Candidates.

Note: All original documents must be produced during Document Verification (DV); failure to do so will result in disqualification for training.

1.       Final Decision: The Railway administration’s decision on eligibility, application acceptance/ rejection, selection, and allotment of Division/ Workshop will be final.

2.       No Correspondence: No communication regarding engagement will be entertained, and canvassing will lead to disqualification.

3.       Eligibility: Applicants must ensure they meet eligibility criteria; any erroneous engagement will lead to termination without notice.

4.       Document Verification: Applications will be canceled if original documents are not produced or discrepancies are found.

5.       No Communication for Rejection: No response will be provided to applicants not selected or called for.

6.       Errors: The Railway administration is not responsible for inadvertent/ printing errors.

7.       No Allowances: No DA, conveyance, or travel allowance will be paid for Document Verification.

8.       No Change of Trade/Division: Requests to change Trade, Division, or Workshop after selection will not be entertained.

9.       Training Restrictions:

o    Training will only be for the selected trade.

o    Withdrawal from training is allowed only for uncontrollable reasons.

o    Absentees must refund training costs and stipends.

10.   Contract Execution: Selected candidates must execute an apprenticeship contract, and minors require their Parent/ Guardian to do so.

11.   Apprenticeship Rules: Apprentices are governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules, 1962, and other applicable Railway rules.

12.   No Employment Guarantee: Completing training does not guarantee regular absorption/employment in railway services.
