Short Description: SSPL DRDO laboratory internship 2025

The Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) under DRDO, Ministry of Defence, has invited applications from bright and meritorious undergraduate and postgraduate students for a 6-Month Paid Internship 2025. Selected interns will work on advanced defence research projects in cutting-edge domains such as semiconductors, MEMS, laser optics, nanotechnology, and quantum technologies. Important Instructions: Government Research Internship 2025

• Internship duration ranges from 4 weeks (minimum) to 6 months (maximum)
• A stipend of ₹5,000/month is paid only for 6-month internships
• Stipend will be released in two installments:
  • ₹15,000 after completion of 3 months
  • ₹15,000 after completion of 6 months
• Interns must bear lodging, boarding, transport, and medical expenses
• Extension beyond the approved duration is not guaranteed
• Interns will have access only to non-classified areas
• Interns are bound by the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923
• Any breach of security or lab rules may lead to immediate termination
• Completion of an internship does not guarantee employment in DRDO
• Only sick leave is allowed with valid medical proof
