1.      Online Application: Candidates must apply online at https://upsconline.gov.in. 2.      One Time Registration (OTR): o   New applicants must complete OTR on the UPSC website before applying. o   OTR is a one-time process and can be done anytime throughout the year. 3.      Registered Candidates: If already registered, candidates can directly proceed with the online application. |

| Special Instructions for Candidates
1.      Exam Instructions: o   Read Appendix III (Conventional Type Tests) and Appendix IV (Objective Type Tests) carefully. 2.      OMR Sheet Guidelines: o   Use only a black ballpoint pen for marking answers. o   Mistakes in Roll Number or Test Booklet Series Code may lead to rejection. 3.      Negative Marking: o   There will be negative markings for wrong answers in the objective-type question paper. 4.      Facilitation Counter: o   For queries, visit UPSC’s Facilitation Counter near ‘C’ Gate or call 011-23385271/011-23381125/011-23098543 on working days between 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. 5.      Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices Banned: o   Strictly prohibited in the exam hall, even if switched off. o   UPSC will not be responsible for loss of valuables. 6.      Uploading Photograph: o   Photo must be taken within 10 days of the application start date. o   Candidate’s name & date of the photo must be visible. o   Face should occupy ¾ of the space in the photo. o   Appearance in the exam must match the uploaded photo (e.g., beard, spectacles, etc.). 7.      Exam Timing: o   Arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam. o   Late entry is not allowed under any circumstances. 8.      Online Question Paper Representation (QPRep): o   Candidates can submit representations on exam questions within 7 days after the exam. o   Submit via QPRep Portal only. o   No email, post, or other methods will be accepted. |

- Application Fee: ₹200/- (Exempted for SC/ST/Female/PwBD candidates). Payment modes:
