Short Description: VRDE DRDO Paid Internship Job 2025

The Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (VRDE), Ahmednagar (now Ahilyanagar), Maharashtra, under the aegis of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released the official notification for Paid Internship Scheme 2025.

Applications are invited from engineering undergraduate (7th/8th semester) and postgraduate (1st/2nd year) students to undergo a 6-month internship program in VRDE. This internship offers a monthly stipend of ₹5,000/- and an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure in defence R&D projects related to mobility systems, light tracked/wheeled vehicles, armament engineering, and defence technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for meritorious students to gain practical research training under the guidance of DRDO scientists and engineers.

The selection process will be entirely merit-based and will involve:

Internship Benefits: VRDE DRDO Paid Internship Job 2025

• Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000/- (paid in 2 installments: ₹15,000 after 3 months + ₹15,000 after 6 months).

Important Instructions: VRDE DRDO Paid Internship Job 2025

• The internship does not guarantee absorption in DRDO.
• Students must attend at least 15 working days per month.
• Stipend will be credited only upon fulfilling attendance and performance criteria.
• VRDE will not provide boarding/lodging facilities (canteen available at subsidized rates).
• Students leaving mid-way will not receive stipend or certificate.
• VRDE reserves the right to change the number of positions or selection criteria at any stage.
