Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO)
The Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL), Hyderabad – a premier laboratory under the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India – invites online applications for the engagement of 80 ITI Apprentices in various trades under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended in 2015 & 2019) for a training period of one year.
DMRL is renowned for developing advanced materials, innovative process technologies, and product engineering for modern defence applications. This apprenticeship offers fresh ITI graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading defence R&D establishment.

Note:
- Cut-off Date for Eligibility: As per the last date of application (30.08.2025)
- Age Limit: As per Apprenticeship Rules.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will get relaxation as per the Apprentices Act and Government norms.
Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a stipend as per the Apprenticeship Rules for the duration of one year.

Important Instructions: DRDO DMRL Recruitment 2025
- Only candidates who have passed ITI as regular students from NCVT/SCVT are eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training are not eligible.
- Higher qualification holders are not eligible and will not be considered.
- The apprenticeship is for ONE YEAR only and does not guarantee employment in DMRL/DRDO.
- No TA/DA, hostel accommodation, or transport facility will be provided.
- Management reserves the right to amend/cancel the selection process at any time.
