Eligibility Criteria

Must be equivalent to BHEL E2 Grade or above

Educational Qualification

Diploma in Pharmacy (mandatory)

Experience Requirement

Essential

Minimum 30 years of post-qualification experience as a pharmacist or in pharmaceutical services

Desirable

Familiarity with PSU / Government pharmaceutical policies
Experience in inventory management and HMIS systems

Job Responsibilities (Assistant Consultant – Medical Group)

The selected assistant consultant will be responsible for:

Inventory management of medicines at four dispensaries in Delhi/NCR
Guiding pharmacists in:
- Indent generation
- Purchase Orders (POs)
- Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs)
- Stock reconciliation via HMIS
Acting as Protocol Officer for coordination with panel hospitals
Supporting medical services for:
- Serving employees
- Retired employees
Any additional duties assigned by BHEL management

Pay Scale and Allowances

Monthly Emoluments

₹60,000 (Consolidated Fee)

Additional Benefits

Mobile reimbursement: Up to ₹2,000/month
HRA: As per BHEL rules
Transport Allowance: 10% of the consultancy fee

Period of Engagement

Initial tenure: 1 Year
Extendable:
- Up to 5 years, or
- Till 65 years of age, whichever is earlier
Extension purely at the discretion of BHEL management.
