Short Description: SECR Sports Quota Recruitment 2026

South East Central Railway (SECR) has released an official notification for recruitment against the Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for 2025-26. A total of 22 vacancies are available across multiple disciplines, including Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Weightlifting, Powerlifting, and Lawn Tennis. Eligible Indian sportspersons can apply online between 17 January 2026 and 16 February 2026.

• Maximum: 25 years (as on 01 July 2026)
• Date of Birth must be between 02 July 2001 and 01 July 2008

• No relaxation in the lower or upper age limit for any category.

2. Navigate to Recruitment → RRC → Sports Quota 2025-26
3. Fill in personal details and the Aadhaar number, and upload the required documents.
4. Pay the application fee online.
5. Apply and note the registration number.
6. Take a printout of the application for future reference.

• Matriculation/10th Certificate (for Date of Birth proof)

Selection Process: SECR Sports Quota Recruitment 2026

1. Trial: Candidates will undergo sports trials (maximum 40 marks). Minimum 25 marks is required to be declared FIT.
2. Assessment of Sports Achievements: Maximum 50 marks.
3. Educational Qualification: Maximum 10 marks.
4. Final Merit: 100 marks total. Minimum qualifying marks:
   1. Level 5/4: 70 marks
   1. Level 3/2: 65 marks
   1. Level 1: 60 marks
