Other Information for the Candidates

1. AIIMS is an autonomous body established under an Act of Parliament.
2. Service is governed by the Act and its Rules & Regulations.
3. The Institute encourages gender parity; women candidates are encouraged to apply.
4. Posts carry usual allowances as per Central Government Employees at Guwahati, Assam.
5. The probation period is two years.
6. Faculty may be considered for assessment promotion after fixed years of service, per applicable Rules and Regulations.
7. Applicants without requisite qualifications by the online application deadline will not be considered.
8. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected; the decision of AIIMS, Guwahati is final.
9. Experience is counted after obtaining the prescribed educational qualification.
10. Employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme per Ministry of Finance notification. Pay protection and past service continuation for existing government employees will follow the rules.

General Conditions

1. Posts carry usual allowances as per Central Government Employees at Guwahati, Assam.
2. Application Process:
   • Submit applications online and send hard copies with self-attested documents.
   • Online registration is available at the AIIMS Guwahati website.
   • The online application deadline is 30 days from advertisement publication. If the last date is a holiday, it extends to the next working day (up to 5 PM).
   • Send signed online applications with self-attested documents within 15 days of the online submission deadline.
   • Required documents: Matriculation, MBBS, MD/MS/DM/MCh certificates, experience certificates, and other relevant documents.
   • Ensure a valid email ID, scanned photo, signature, and relevant documents for the online application.
   • Online applications without hard copies will not be considered.
3. Fill in a correct and active email ID for communication. Interview details will be emailed.
4. Ensure eligibility before applying. Applications not meeting the criteria by the closing date will be rejected.
