IB Specialist Recruitment 2024: Selection Procedure
Depending on the number of applications received, the Bank will determine the selection mode, which may include:
- Shortlisting of Applications Followed by Interview
- Written/Online Test Followed by Interview
Test Structure:
- Professional Knowledge (Respective Domain): 60 questions, 60 marks, 60 minutes.
- English Language: 20 questions, 20 marks, 30 minutes.
- General Awareness (Banking Industry): 20 questions, 20 marks, 15 minutes.
Penalty for Wrong Answers:
A penalty of 1/4th of the mark allotted to the respective question will be applied for wrong answers. There is no penalty for unanswered questions.
Cut-off Score in Test:
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their test performance, with a ratio of 3 times the vacancy for the unreserved category and 5 times for the reserved category. The bank will decide the final cut-offs.
Interview:
Total marks: 100.
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- Test and Interview: 40% for unreserved/EWS, 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD. The bank reserves the right to lower these marks if necessary.
- Candidates must qualify both in the test and interview separately to be considered for the final merit list.
Weightage:
- Test and Interview: 80:20.
Merit Order:
In the event of tie scores, the older candidate will be placed higher in the merit order.
