Indian Navy SSCO Entry June 2025: How  to Apply

The Indian Navy

1.       Registration: Visit the Indian Navy website at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in to register and fill out the application.

2.       Advance Preparation: Fill in details and upload documents in advance to save time during the application window.

3.       Document Readiness:

  • Keep relevant documents handy, including personal details as per the Matriculation Certificate.
  • Mandatory fields: email address and mobile number.

4.       Documents to Upload:

  • Scanned copies of original documents in JPG/ TIFF format including marksheets, date of birth proof, and CGPA conversion for BE/B.Tech, Merchant Navy certificate, NCC ‘C’ certificate, and a passport-sized photograph.

5.       Legibility: Ensure scanned documents are legible, or the application may be rejected.

6.       Print Application: Take a printout of the submitted application and bring it to the SSB interview.

7.       Final Submission: No changes or amendments will be allowed once submitted.

Indian Navy SSCO Entry June 2025: Selection Process

The Indian Navy

1.       Shortlisting: Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree. Marks will be normalized as per the formula on the Indian Navy website.

2.       BE/B.Tech Candidates: Marks up to the fifth semester will be considered for shortlisting.

3.       Postgraduate Candidates: Marks from all semesters will be considered. Final-year students will be shortlisted based on pre-final year performance.

4.       Proof Submission: Candidates selected in the final merit list must submit proof of their degree with 60% marks via email to [email protected].

5.       SSB Interview Intimation: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/SMS. Candidates should monitor their inboxes and spam folders regularly.

6.       SSB Center Change: No change in the SSB Center is permitted.

7.       SSB Date Change: Requests must be addressed to the SSB call-up officer after receiving the call letter.

8.       SSB Interview Compensation: No compensation for injuries during tests.

9.       Rail Fare: AC 3-tier rail fare is provided for first-time interviewees. Candidates must bring a photocopy of their passbook or cheque leaf with A/C No. and IFSC details.

10.   Merit List: Based on SSB marks, subject to medical clearance and vacancy availability.

11.   Training: Candidates will be inducted as Sub Lieutenant after passing the medical exam at INA, Ezhimala. Only unmarried candidates are eligible for training.

12.   Marriage During Training: Married candidates will be discharged and must refund expenses incurred by the government.

13.   Resignation: Candidates who withdraw or resign during probation must refund training costs and pay received.

14.   Probation Period: Three years for SSC (NAIC) Officers and two years for other branches, starting from the rank of Sub Lieutenant.

15.   Pay and Allowances: Sub Lieutenant’s basic pay starts at ₹56,100 with other applicable allowances. Further details are available on the Indian Navy website.
