  • Age Limit:
    • Minimum: 18 years
    • Maximum: 42 years as on 01 July 2025
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST/BC/EWS: 5 years
    • SC/ST CF Vacancies: 10 years
    • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PBD): 10 years
    • Ex-Servicemen/NCC Instructors: Length of service + 3 years
    • AP State Govt Employees: Length of service up to 5 years
    • Retrenched Census Employees: 3 years
  • Cut-Off Date for Age Calculation: 01 July 2025

Candidates must apply online via https://psc.ap.gov.in using their One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) credentials. New applicants must first register their bio-data to generate a unique OTPR ID. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted.

  • Written Examination (OMR-based):
    • Paper I: General Studies & Mental Ability (150 marks)
    • Paper II: Geophysics (150 marks)
    • Negative marking: 1/3rd per wrong answer
  • Computer Proficiency Test (CPT):
    • Mandatory for final selection
    • Minimum qualifying marks:
      • OC: 40%
      • BC: 35%
      • SC/ST/PBD: 30%
  • Final Merit List: Based on written exam + CPT performance
  • Only candidates local to Zone-IV are eligible
  • Applications must be submitted online only

Can candidates from other zones apply?

No. Only candidates local to Zone-IV are eligible for these carried-forward vacancies.

Is CPT mandatory for selection?

Yes. Candidates must qualify for the Computer Proficiency Test to be eligible for appointment.

What if I make a mistake in my application?

Corrections are allowed for 7 days after the last date of application submission, except for the name, fee, and age relaxation fields.
