Educational Qualification:

Candidates must hold a full-time B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degree in:

• Electronics: Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication / Telecommunication Engineering
• Mechanical: Mechanical Engineering
• Computer Science: Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Science Engineering

The degree must be obtained from an AICTE-approved institution or a recognized university, with First Class marks.

Post-Qualification Industrial Experience (As of 01 May 2025):

• B.E/B.Tech Candidates: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• M.E/M.Tech Candidates: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Experience Requirements:

For Electronics Discipline:

• Electronics system design, PCB testing, EMI/EMC compliance per MIL standards.
• Firmware testing with Verilog/VHDL, Altera/Xilinx programming.
• Testing and troubleshooting at PCB, subsystem, and system levels.
• Preparation of technical documentation as per naval standards.

For Mechanical Discipline:

• 3D modeling of mechanical systems using SolidWorks.
• Design, analysis, and creation of assembly drawings and BOM.
• Installation & integration support for naval platforms.

For Computer Science Discipline:

• C/C++ programming with QT framework, object-oriented design.
• Debugging software for performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Development of software test plans and real-time trials.

• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (as of 01 May 2025).
• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PwBD: 10 years (plus category relaxation)

The BEL Careers 2025 selection process consists of the following steps.

1. Application Screening: BEL will screen applications and the attached documents to shortlist candidates.
2. Written Examination (85 Marks): Candidates shortlisted based on screening will be called for a written test.
3. Interview: Candidates scoring well in the written test will be shortlisted in a 1:7 ratio (post-wise & category-wise) for an interview.
4. Final Selection: Candidates who clear the interview stage successfully will be offered employment.
