CGPSC State Service Examination 2024 Notification. The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has announced the State Service Exam (SSE) recruitment for 246 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online between 01 December 2024 and 30 December 2024. 1.       Applications for the State Service Examination-2024 will only be accepted online until the specified deadline. Applications sent manually or by post will not be accepted by the Commission.

2.       Candidates applying for the examination should ensure beforehand that they meet all eligibility criteria for appearing in the examination. Their eligibility will be considered final once they pass all stages of the examination. If a candidate is issued an admit card for the examination, it does not mean their eligibility has been finally approved by the Commission.

3.       The application fee for the State Service Examination-2024 must be paid online. Payments made through bank drafts or checks will not be accepted.

4.       Online applications for the State Service Examination-2024 will be available from 12:00 PM on 01/12/2024 to 11:59 PM on 30/12/2024 through the link available at www.psc.cg.gov.in.

5.       The Correction facility for the online application will be available from noon on 31/12/2024 to 11:59 PM on 02/01/2025. The correction can only be made once and will be free.

6.       After the correction facility, candidates will have the option to make a final correction from noon on 03/01/2025 to 11:59 PM on 05/01/2025. A fee of ₹500 (five hundred rupees) will be charged for this final correction. This correction can only be made once and must be done online. (See advertisement point 19).

7.       Candidates claiming Chhattisgarh local/native residence who incorrectly select “No” for the option related to Chhattisgarh residency must pay the difference in the application fee. However, if a candidate fails to select “Yes” and later corrects this to indicate Chhattisgarh residency, the fee difference will not be refunded.

8.       After the final correction, any further applications will be considered invalid. Detailed information regarding this was issued on 03.07.2023 and is available on the Commission’s website.

9.       Regarding any omissions in the State Service Examination Rules that are not mentioned in this advertisement, the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (Amended) Rules, 2014 will apply.

1.       For Chhattisgarh Ex-Servicemen:

·         Candidates must mention the certificate number, date, issuing authority’s designation, and other details in the online application form.

2.       For Differently Abled Candidates:

·         As per the RPWD Act 2016 and guidelines of the Ministry of Social Justice, India, candidates must submit certificates (Form-1 & Form-2) issued by a Chief Medical Officer or Civil Surgeon for assistance from a scribe.

·         Candidates may arrange a scribe themselves or request one from the district/ division office.

3.       Scribe Eligibility:

·         The scribe must qualify lower than the minimum requirement for the exam but at least matriculation level.

·         Candidates must submit Forms 1, 2, 3, and 4 with appropriate signatures for scribe approval before the exam day.

4.       Extra Time for Disability:

·         Candidates with visual impairments or severe disabilities are allowed 20 extra minutes per exam hour upon certificate submission.

5.       Reservation for Ex-Servicemen:

·         Reserved posts for ex-servicemen are available only for those not previously availed of this reservation in government service. A discharge certificate and proof of domicile must be provided during document verification.

6.       Document Submission:

·         No documents or certificates are required to be sent or uploaded for the preliminary examination.

7.       Preliminary Exam Merit List:

·         The merit list will be prepared based on marks in Paper-1 (General Studies) for shortlisting candidates for the main exam.

8.       Main Exam Merit List:

·         Candidates scoring marks equal to or higher than the cutoff will be shortlisted for interviews based on the reserved post ratio.

9.       Online Verification Form:

·         Candidates must fill out the verification form online within the specified time. Changes or corrections are not allowed after submission.

10.   Interview Selection:

·         The final selection will be based on a combined merit list of the main exam and interview marks.
