CSIR CBRI Recruitment 2024 Technical Assistant Notification. The Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), located in Roorkee, is a key unit under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. As a premier institute specializing in Building Science & Technology, CBRI is entrusted with the crucial responsibility of generating, fostering, and promoting advancements in building science and technology. With a focus on both applied and basic research, CBRI addresses challenges in Shelter Planning, Building Materials, Structure & Foundation, and Disaster Mitigation. The institute is dedicated to Research and Development (R&D) initiatives, aiming to create innovative Building Materials and Construction Technologies, aiming to transfer these technologies to the industry for commercialization. How to Apply for CSIR-CBRI Recruitment:

1.       Eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website https://www.cbri.res.in/career-opportunities/recruitment.

2.       Refer to the “How-to-apply online” instructions, “Fee Payment Procedure,” and “Application Replica” available on the mentioned website for guidance on the online application process.

3.        The application process involves three steps:

·         Registration [online]

·         Fee Submission [online], if applicable.

·         Application submission[online]

4.       Ensure a valid email ID is created before applying online and remains active throughout the recruitment process. Key dates for the application stages are as follows:

·         Start Date for Registration/Fee Submission: 10.01.2024 (1700 hours)

·         Last date for Fee Submission Online: 07.02.2024 (1700 hours)

·         Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 07.02.2024 (1700 hours).

·         Last date for receipt of hard copy of the application by post: 20.02.2024 (1700 hours).

5.       Pay the application fee of Rs.100/- as per the provided “Fee Payment Procedure” on the website. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/CSIR Employees/Ex-Servicemen candidates. Applications without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected.

6.       Upload a recent passport-size scanned color photograph, signature [max size 50 KB], and relevant certificates [max size 1 MB] in the specified place in the online application.

7.       Once submitted, applications cannot be withdrawn, and fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.

8.       In the case of CGPA/SGPA/OGPA/DGPA/CPI grades, convert them into a percentage using the formula provided by the respective Boards/Universities/Institutes. Upload the conversion formula in the online application.

9.       After successful online submission, a print-out of the application, accompanied by self-attested copies of required certificates, should be sent by post to the Director, CSIR-CBRI, Roorkee.

10.   No change/correction in the application form will be entertained once submitted.

11.   Provide correct and active e-mail addresses and mobile numbers, as correspondence will be made through email/SMS.

12.   Check the official website regularly for updates and additional information related to the recruitment.

13.   E-Admit Cards/Roll Numbers will be issued for the Trade Test/Written Examination through email. No separate call letters will be posted.

14.   Declare if any blood/close relatives are working in CSIR-CBRI or any other National Labs/Institutes of CSIR.

1.       Educational qualifications must be obtained from recognized Boards/Institutions/Universities.

2.       Age limit, experience, and qualifications are determined as of the closing date for online applications (07.02.2024). Experience, where prescribed, is counted after acquiring the minimum educational qualification.

3.       A candidate can apply for multiple postcodes, but applications and fees must be submitted separately for each postcode.

4.       The Director’s decisions regarding eligibility, application acceptance/rejection, and the selection process are final. Claims for equivalent qualifications require supporting orders/letters from the Competent Authority.

5.       Vacancy numbers are provisional and subject to change during the selection process. The advertisement doesn’t guarantee actual selection; it follows CSIR/GoI instructions prevailing at various stages.

6.       Candidates must possess the essential qualifications/experience in the relevant area on the last date of online application. Minimum qualifications don’t guarantee Trade/Written Test calls; criteria for shortlisting may vary.

7.       Experience in the prescribed discipline/area is counted from the date of acquiring the minimum educational qualifications for the post.

8.       Documentary evidence for claimed experience, including appointment letters, pay certificates, and experience certificates, must be submitted.

9.       Any discrepancy between application information and original documents renders the candidate ineligible.

10.   Documents in languages other than Hindi or English must be submitted with an English transcript attested by the applicant.
