1. Online Application:
   • Applications must be submitted online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
   • Click on ‘Officer Entry Appln/Login’ and then ‘Registration’ (skip if already registered).
   • Complete the online registration form after reading the instructions.
   • After registration, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard.
   • On the ‘Officers Selection – Eligibility’ page, click ‘Apply’ for the Short Service Commission Technical Course.
   • Complete the ‘Application Form’ by filling in details under various segments (Personal, Communication, Education, Previous SSB).
   • Save and continue after each segment.
   • Review the ‘Summary of your information’ page and make necessary edits.
   • Apply after confirming all details.
   • Print two copies of the application with the Roll Number, 30 minutes after final submission.
2. Important Notes:
   • No changes to the application are allowed after submission.
   • CGPA/Grades must be converted to marks as per university guidelines.
   • Ensure the name, parent’s names, and date of birth in the profile match the Matriculation/Secondary School Examination Certificate.
3. Required Documents for Selection Centre:
   • Self-attested copies along with originals.
   • One signed copy of the application with a self-attested photograph.
   • Matriculation/ Secondary School Examination Certificate and Marksheet (proof of Date of Birth, Candidate’s name, and Parent’s name).
   • 12th class mark sheet and certificate or equivalent/ diploma mark sheet and certificate.
   • Engineering Degree/ Provisional Degree (not older than six months).
   • Marksheets of all semesters/ years (no backlog at the time of application).
   • Certificate regarding the cumulative percentage of marks from the University.
   • Certificate from the institution head for final year students (no backlog, result by April 1, 2025).
   • Declaration of passing Engineering Degree by April 1, 2025 (final year students).
4. Additional Information:
   • Carry documents for civil verification.
   • Originals are to be verified at the SSB interview.
   • Retain a second copy of the application for reference.
   • Submit only one online application (multiple applications will lead to cancellation).
   • Armed Forces personnel must inform their Commanding Officer and bring a countersigned application to the SSB interview.

Reminder: Read the notification carefully before completing the online application to avoid mistakes and potential rejection. Aadhar number and matriculation certificate are mandatory for registration.

Indian Army SSC Job 2024: Selection Procedure

1. Shortlisting of Applications:
   • The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and set cutoff percentages for each Engineering discipline without explanation.
   • Cutoffs are based on the cumulative percentage of marks up to the final semester/ year.
   • Final semester/ year students may be provisionally allowed to appear in SSB if:
     • Their cumulative percentage up to the 6th semester/ 3rd year of Engineering, 8th semester/ 4th year of B. Arch, or 2nd semester/1st year of M.Sc is not below the cutoff.
     • Their cumulative percentage at the end of their degree is not below the cutoff; otherwise, their candidature will be canceled.
2. Centre Allotment:
   • Candidates will be notified of their selection center via email after shortlisting.
   • Candidates must log in to the website to select their SSB dates on a first-come, first-served basis. If they do not choose dates, they will be assigned by the Selection Centres.
   • Date selection may be forfeited due to exceptional circumstances.
3. SSB Interview:
   • Only shortlisted candidates meeting the cutoff will be interviewed at Selection Centres in Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar Cantt.
   • The SSB interview call-up letter will be sent via email and SMS.
   • Selection Centre allocation is at the discretion of the Directorate General of Recruiting, and no change requests will be entertained.
4. Two-Stage Selection Procedure:
   • Stage-1: Candidates who pass proceed to Stage-2; those who fail are sent home the same day.
   • The SSB interview lasts five days, with details on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
   • Recommended candidates will undergo a medical examination.
5. Final Selection:
   • Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will receive Joining Letters for training based on merit and the number of available vacancies, subject to eligibility criteria.
