1.       Registration on Portals:

o    Trade Apprentice: Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices)/ Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders) at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in

o    Technician Apprentice: (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Telecommunication & Instrumentation) at nats.education.gov.in

o    Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource/ Accountant): at nats.education.gov.in

2.       Applying on NATS/NAPS Portal:

o    Candidates must log in to the respective NATS/ NAPS Portal using their User ID/Email ID.

o    Apply for the apprenticeship openings using the Establishment ID of Indian Oil Corporation Limited mentioned below:

3.       Completing Application:

o    Complete the application process on the NATS/NAPS Portal from 10.02.2025 to 03.03.2025.

o    Ensure that the profile (Personal details, Educational details, Category, etc.) is correctly updated in the application.

o    Contact the NAPS/NATS Office for any corrections.

4.       Registration on Indian Oil Pipelines Portal for IOCL Apprentices Recruitment 2025 :

o    After applying on the NATS/NAPS Portal, register on the Indian Oil Pipelines portal at https://plapps.indianoilpipelines.in/

o    Use the same email ID and mobile number used in the NATS/NAPS Portal.

5.       Two-Step Registration Process:

o    Part-I Registration: Fill in basic details like name, category, etc., and create a password. A registration number will be sent to the registered email ID/SMS.

o    Part-II Registration: Upload scanned photograph and signature, and furnish educational qualification, experience details, etc. Ensure all details are accurate before final submission.

6.       Application Completion:

o    Complete the application process on the Indian Oil Pipelines portal from 10.02.2025 to 03.03.2025.

7.       Follow Procedure:

o    Follow the procedure mentioned in the apprentice engagement portal.

o    Refer to FAQs/How to Apply options available in the portal for any difficulties.

8.       Verify Information:

o    Verify the correctness of all information before final submission.

o    The candidate is responsible for the information provided in the online application form.

9.       Mention Registration Number:

o    Mention the registration/ enrolment number of the NATS/NAPS Portal while applying on the Indian Oil Pipelines Portal.

10.   Print Application:

o    After successfully applying/registering, take a printout of the filled-in online application for future reference.

11.   Cut-off Date:

o    The cut-off date for age, qualification, etc., is 28.02.2025.

12.   Mode of Application:

o    No other means/mode of application shall be accepted. Ensure successful application through the NATS/NAPS Portal before registering on the Indian Oil Pipelines Portal.

Selection Process: IOCL Apprentices Recruitment 2025

1.       Eligibility for Selection:

o    Candidates registered in the NAPS/NATS Portal and applying against the notification will be considered.

o    A Panel cum Merit List will be prepared based on the percentage of marks in descending order. Aggregate marks of all subjects of all years/semesters in the essential qualification will be considered.

2.       Marks Conversion:

o    Candidates must indicate the equivalent aggregate percentage of marks if CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade is awarded, as per the norms adopted by their Board/ University/ Institute.

o    Candidates must upload a certificate from the Board/ University/ Institute regarding the equivalent aggregate percentage of marks concerning their CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade.

o    If no conversion formula is followed by the Board/ Institute/ University, candidates must produce a certificate stating this. The aggregate of Grade scores obtained in each semester/year, divided by the total number of semesters/years, will be considered for percentage calculation.

3.       Rank in Merit:

o    In case of a similar rank in merit based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, candidates with an earlier date of birth (older) will be considered.

o    If dates of birth are the same, candidates with a higher percentage of marks in Matriculation will be considered.

4.       No Written Test or Personal Interview:

o    There shall be no written test or personal interview for selection.

5.       Filling Reserved Seats:

o    If seats reserved for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) cannot be filled, they may be filled by candidates from the unreserved category based on merit.

6.       Medical Fitness:

o    Candidates must ensure they are medically fit as per IndianOil’s pre-engagement medical standards. Candidates with benchmark disabilities must be within the normal range of all other physical standards.

7.       Apprenticeship Training Criteria:

o    Candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship Training earlier or be pursuing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act.

o    Candidates with job experience or having undergone training for one year or more after qualification are not eligible.

o    Candidates who have completed five years after acquiring the prescribed qualification as of the eligibility cutoff date are not eligible for engagement as Apprentices.

1. 6. Merit List Based on Furnished Information: Candidates shall be shortlisted for the Panel cum Merit List purely based on the information furnished in the online portal.
7. Incomplete Applications: Incomplete applications, received in any other mode/form, or not fulfilling the eligibility criteria, and those received after the last date of submission shall be treated as “Rejected.” Canvassing of any kind disqualifies the candidate.
8. Provisional Candidature: The candidature is provisional and subject to verification of certificates and testimonials. If at any stage it is detected that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms or has furnished incorrect/ doctored/ false information/ documents, their candidature will be canceled. Engagement is liable to be terminated if detected even after engagement.
9. Medical Fitness: The engagement of selected candidates is subject to being declared medically fit as per the Corporation’s requirements. All engagement will be subject to relevant Rules/Policies/Guidelines of the Corporation.
10. Management’s Final Decision: The decision of the Management is final and binding on all candidates regarding eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full of IOCL Apprentices Recruitment 2025, etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Filling up of seats is at the discretion of the management based on candidate suitability.
11. No Right of Engagement: Mere submission of application, document verification, or empanelment does not confer any right of engagement as an apprentice in IOCL.
12. Reserved Category Candidates Applying for UR Seats: SC/ST/OBC (NCL-non-creamy layer) candidates applying for Unreserved (UR) seat shall be considered subject to fulfilling the standards and qualification criteria as applicable to General category candidates.
13. Reserved Category Certificate: Produce Caste/ Tribe/ Disability/ EWS certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority at the time of document verification if selected for engagement. Formats are available under the Downloads section of Indian Oil Pipelines.
14. Apply for One Trade Code Only: Candidates can apply for one Trade Code only. Applications for more than one Trade Code will be rejected. Only one mobile number and one email ID can be used for applying. The same cannot be used by any other candidate.
15. Higher Qualification Not Eligible: Candidates pursuing higher qualifications on the date of final submission but acquiring/completing them subsequently at the time of document verification are not eligible for engagement.
16. Suppression of Information: Suppressing information regarding possession or pursuing higher qualifications renders a candidate ineligible at any stage of selection and termination during engagement if engaged.
17. No Additional Benefits: During the Apprenticeship period, no other monetary or non-monetary benefits/facilities such as accommodation, HRA, conveyance, medical facility, etc., are admissible. Candidates must arrange their accommodation, conveyance, and medical.
18. Terms Governed by Apprentices Act: The terms and conditions of engagement shall be governed by The Apprentices Act, 1961 and Rules 1992, as amended from time to time.
19. Jurisdiction of Disputes: Any disputes arising out of this advertisement shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the following Courts:

    • Northern Region Pipelines – Chandigarh
    • Southern Region Pipelines – Chennai
    • South Eastern Region Pipelines – Cuttack
20. No Employment Obligation: Upon completion of the apprenticeship period, the Corporation has no obligation to offer employment to Apprentices, nor can an Apprentice claim the right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship.
