· Must possess a valid HVD (Heavy Vehicle Driver) license and a Public Service Badge, if required by law.

· 3 years of driving experience as a Light Vehicle Driver.

· Must possess a valid LVD (Light Vehicle Driver) license.

· 5 years experience in a similar capacity (as Cook) in a well-established hotel, canteen

1.       Post: Technical Assistant and Technician B

·         Written Test: 90 minutes, 80 multiple choice questions, 1 mark each. Negative marking of 0.33 marks per wrong answer. The syllabus covers theoretical and practical knowledge.

·         Skill Test: Shortlisted candidates (1:5 ratio, minimum 10) undergo a ‘go-no-go’ skill test. Marks from the skill test don’t count toward the final selection. Final selection is based on written test scores. Ties are broken by academic scores.

2.       Post: Light & Heavy Vehicle Driver, Cook

·         Written Test: 120 minutes, 100 objective questions, 1 mark each. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer. Minimum 50% marks are required in both Part-A and combined Part-B, C, and D to qualify for the skill test.

·         Skill Test: Shortlisted candidates (1:5 ratio, minimum 10) undergo a ‘go-no-go’ skill test. A minimum score of 60% is required to pass. Final selection is based on written test scores. Ties are broken by academic scores.

3.       Post: Cook

·         Written Test: 120 minutes, 80 objective questions, 1 mark each. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer. The test covers theoretical and practical knowledge in cooking, kitchen equipment, General Knowledge, English, and Arithmetic (SSLC/Matric level).

·         Skill Test: Shortlisted candidates (1:5 ratio, minimum 10) undergo a ‘go-no-go’ skill test. A minimum score of 60% is required to pass. Final selection is based on written test scores. Ties are broken by academic scores.

4.       The Written Test and Skill Test of ISRO LPSC Recruitment 2024 will be held in Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) only.

5.       No travel allowance will be paid for attending the written test.

6. After ticket submission, Outstation candidates called for the Skill Test will be reimbursed for second-class railway fare or bus fare (shortest route).

7.       Central/State Government, PSU, or autonomous body employees must apply under intimation to their current employer and provide a No Objection Certificate to attend the tests.

8.       Original documents must be produced at the skill test for verification. Failure to produce will disqualify the candidate from the reimbursement of the skill test and travel allowance.

9. Notifications for the Written Test, Skill Test, etc., will be sent via email/LPSC website only. Candidates must provide the correct email ID.

10. No interim correspondence will be entertained.

11. Only Indian nationals need to apply for ISRO LPSC Recruitment 2024.

12. The center reserves the right not to fill any posts.

13. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.

14. Candidates must apply separately for each post if applying for more than one.

15. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

2.       The online Recruitment Portal will be open from 1400 hrs on August 27 to 1400 hrs on 10.09.2024.

3.       Uploading Photographs:

·         Ensure the photo clearly shows the applicant’s face.

·         Background should be white or light-colored.

·         Eyes must be visible; no dark glasses.

·         Photos where the applicant cannot be identified will be invalid.

·         Maximum file size: 40 KB.

·         File format: JPG/JPEG.

·         Photo resolution: 95×95 to 100×100 pixels.

·         File name length: ≤ 25 characters.

·         File name should only contain alphabets and numbers.

·         To change your photo, browse and select a new one.

·         Ensure the image is virus-free; infected files will result in an invalid application.

2.       Age Limit for ISRO LPSC Recruitment 2024 (as of 10.09.2024):

·         Maximum: 35 years.

·         Relaxation: +5 years for SC/ST, +3 years for OBC (for reserved posts).

·         Other categories (Ex-servicemen, PWBD, Departmental candidates, etc.) receive age relaxation as per Govt. of India rules.

·         Minimum: 18 years for all posts.

·         No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC applying for unreserved posts.

3.       Essential qualifications of ISRO LPSC Recruitment 2024 must be from recognized State Boards/Institutions.

4.       Initial posting will be at LPSC Units, but incumbents may be transferred to any ISRO/Department of Space Unit across India as required.

5.       Career advancement:

·         Scientific/ Technical personnel: Merit Promotion Scheme (promotions based on merit without reference to vacancies).

·         Administrative personnel: Advancement based on vacancy availability.

6.       Benefits include Medical Facilities for self and dependents, Subsidized Canteen, House Building Advance, LTC, National Pension System, and other social security measures as per Central Govt. Orders.

7.       OBC Reservation:

·         Available only for candidates not in the Creamy Layer.

·         OBC certificates must include the exclusion clause and be valid at the time of application.

·         Certificate must be in the format prescribed in DOPT OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.2019.

·         Non-compliance will result in consideration under the General (UR) category only.
