ITBP Constable Driver Job 2024: Application & Selection Process

• The recruitment process has two phases:
  a) Phase 1: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) (details in the information bulletin).
  b) Phase 2: Written test for those who clear Phase 1.

2. Written Test Details:

• The test will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions for 100 marks.
• Duration: 2 hours.
• Mode (computer- based or OMR) will be decided by ITBP.

3. Question Paper Sections:

• General Knowledge (bilingual): 10 questions, 10 marks.
• General English or Hindi: 20 questions, 20 marks.
• Mathematics (bilingual): 10 questions, 10 marks.
• Trade-related theory (motor transport, bilingual): 60 questions, 60 marks.

4. Application Period:

• Candidates can apply online from 08/10/ 2024 to 06/11/ 2024.

5. Application Instructions:

• Read the official notification before applying.
• Check and collect all necessary documents (eligibility, ID proof, address details).
• Prepare scanned copies of required documents (photo, signature, ID proof).
• Carefully review the form before submission.
• Ensure to pay the required application fee; without it, the form will be incomplete.
• Print the final submitted form for reference.

• Admit cards will be issued online, specifying the date and venue of the recruitment test.
• Candidates’ selection will remain provisional until the final verification of original documents.

2. Documents to Carry:

• Candidates must bring a clear printout of their online application form and admit card to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
• Entry will not be allowed without these documents.

3. Biometric Verification:

• Biometric identity verification will be done before PET & PST, and can be rechecked at any stage of the recruitment process.
• It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure that their fingerprints are scannable. Unscannable fingerprints (due to Mehndi, wax, etc.) will result in disqualification.
• Failure in biometric verification at any stage will lead to cancellation of candidature.

4. Recruitment Tests:

• Candidates will undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) as part of the recruitment process.

5. General Instructions for Exam Conduct:

• Candidature will be cancelled if candidates engage in the following malpractices:
  a) Removing any exam-related material (OMR sheets, rough sheets, answer sheets) from the examination hall.
  b) Leaving the examination venue without the invigilator’s permission.
