Job Description and Responsibilities
The Project Engineer (Mechanical) at KIIFB will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and scrutinising the scope, cost, and technical specifications of projects proposed by implementing agencies.
- Preparing draft and final appraisal reports.
- Coordinating with consultants and resource persons during the appraisal process.
- Conducting site visits to assess project feasibility and progress.
- Examining running account bills, final bills, and revised estimates submitted by SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicles).
- Monitoring the physical and financial progress of projects funded by KIIFB.
- Reporting variances and discrepancies in project execution.
- Projecting and budgeting cash outflows based on project schedules and work breakdown structure.
