Selection Process: NCL Technician Recruitment 2025

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria as of the Crucial Date will appear for the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Selection will depend on the relative score in CBT.

Declaration-Based Participation: Candidates can take the CBT based on their self-declared eligibility in the online application form. Verification of claims will occur after CBT results, and only those meeting the laid-down cut-off marks will undergo scrutiny.

Computer-Based Test Details:

• Separate Tests for Each Post: CBT will be conducted separately for each post.
• Test Format: 100 marks, 90 minutes duration, with two sections:
  • Section A: 70 discipline-specific multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Section B: 30 MCQs on general knowledge, awareness, reasoning, verbal & mental ability, and quantitative aptitude.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark per question, no penalty for wrong answers, and no marks for unattempted questions.
• Bilingual Question Paper: Available in English and Hindi. In case of discrepancies, the English version will be considered final.

Single Application: Candidates can apply for only one of the three notified positions. Multiple applications will result in disqualification.

Recognized Qualifications: All qualifications must be approved by AICTE/UGC/Indian Statutory Authorities.

Eligibility Check: Ensure eligibility criteria and norms are fulfilled before submission, as corrections cannot be made later.

Final Authority: NCL management has the final say on eligibility, application acceptance/rejection, and selection mode.

Admit Card: Issuance of admit card does not confirm final eligibility; it is provisional until document verification post-CBT.

False Information: False or incomplete data will lead to disqualification or termination at any stage.

No Relaxation: Minimum qualifications as per ‘Table A’ apply to all candidates without exception.

Eligibility Date: Eligibility, including age, will be calculated as of the Crucial Date mentioned in the notification.

Category Declaration: Fill in the correct category in the application form; changes are not allowed later.

Ex-Servicemen: Must submit discharge or relevant certificates at document verification for benefits.

Document Verification: All submitted documents will be verified, and unsatisfactory certificates will lead to cancellation.
